Nothing makes me happier than a lore so in depth. To a point where i lose sense of my own reality. Ive learned a lot more about Jaina in this book than actually playing the game.. and i love the game aswell. very pleased. need more books..

"Good Story but the voice acting is atrocious"
If you could sum up World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War in three words, what would they be?

    Great story

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Her voice acting was terrible. The goblins are from Brooklyn and the Tauren seem to be just a bunch of slow humanoids.

    Any additional comments?

I would keep my money and buy the real book

I wasn't sure if I would like this after reading Richard A Knaacks writing which were fantastic but Christine does an awesome job of telling the lore and story of Azeroth. A must read for those looking deeper into the lore.

"great book, wonderful story, narrator is ok."

I love this story, it is well written. The narration was decent, but, the "For the Horde" sounds like a group of angry leprechaun's are going to attack with the heavy Irish accent that she adds to most of the male voices in this story. The males that don't sound Irish talk slowly like they were sired by Mr. Ed.

    "Jaina has a point"
What did you like best about World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War? What did you like least?

Jaina and the battles were what I liked most.
The cobbled together love was by far the worst.

Would you ever listen to anything by Christie Golden again?

    No

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

    The various voices

Was World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War worth the listening time?

Not for me. The love story was thrown together and no one would even listen to Jaina at all even though she had great points.

"40 min in and I cannot continue"
If you could sum up World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War in three words, what would they be?

The voice actor does a good job when she is describing a scene. The voices she uses to portray the characters are beyond my ability to deal with.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Yes, her natural voice I enjoy. Her altered voice to play the characters is unbearable.

    "fantastic!"

the performance was energetic and entertaining, the only voice I didn't love was the voice of Garrosh. This narration was a much welcome change to Scott Brick who seems to almost ruin every book I try to listen to, please I beg for a remastery of all the other warcraft novels narrated by him.

    "Great story bad voice acting"

The voice actor sounded like A child making fun of the elderly any time a deep male voice was attempted.
