    "Best in the series"
Would you listen to 'Til Death Do Us Part again? Why?

I might listen to it again, but I have always had a difficult time re-reading something. However, don't let that take away from this book. It does what is very hard to do in a series, be better than the first book.

What did you like best about this story?

The action was really ramped up in this one, but the best part of the book is John the Tripper. He might be my new favorite literary character. His dialogue and the stuff he and Mike get into and out of is great!

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

I found it very easy to listen to and he did a great job of keeping the character voices separate. I never really wondered what character was saying what because his narration was superb.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to, but circumstances forced me to break it up into two bits.

    Any additional comments?

This book is great. Again, Tufo is not what I would consider a top flight writer. He has a great story and does a decent job in telling it, just an average to below average writer from a technical aspect. This book, and the series as a whole, left me wanting another book and probably another one after that. When you write for a living, what better compliment can you have than to have your readers want to read more of your stories?

I applaud all authors in the zombie apocalypse genre - even the "bad" ones. Keep doing what you do!

"Guerrilla Zombie Writing at it's Best!"
Would you try another book from Mark Tufo and/or Sean Runnette?

Yes, I've read most of Tufo's books

    Any additional comments?

Tufo is a mad story teller who weaves a wild tale as if he's telling ghost stories around a campfire on a cold, dark night. The history doesn't always line up, the characters are inconsistent and the storyline sometimes leaps off the narrative tracks like a out of control locomotive - but it doesn't matter! The stories are so entertaining and frantic that the reader only has time to hold on to the edge of their seat in anticipation of the next wild turn of events. The stories are original, creative and fresh. It sounds like Tufo has his Uncle Joe narrating the books and while it's a little grating at times - thats ok too because this is low budget, "B" reel entertainment at it's best. I've read lots of books & stories in the "guerrilla zombie" genre (ie. written by non professional writers) and Tufo is the King!

A note - I use the term "guerrilla zombie" writer loosley inre Mr. Tufo because he has now written so much that he likely qualifies as a "professional writer". I certainly hope his income befits his efforts. Nonetheless, he seems to have started that way or at least he has mastered the sound and feel of the niche.

    "Obsessed!"

I'm so sad this is the last (at least for now) of the Zombie Fallout series. I've actually had book one in my library for several months and went through books 1-6 in the course of a month and a half.

Book 6 was action packed and everything came full circle. Literally. Excellent.

I will miss the Talbot family, BT, and Tommy for keeping me company on the treadmill, the kitchen and in traffic. Thank you Mark Tufo for creating such memorable characters and story and Sean Runnette for setting a high bar on audio book narration.

"A decent finale to the series"

Overall, I would say this is a fairly decent ending to this somewhat overlong series of post-apocolyptic zombie novels. I think this series of relatively mediocre zombie stories could have been contained in 3-4 books at the most. I just felt that by book 6 the story was getting a little too stretched and redundant. On the plus side, Tufo keeps the action going as the lead character Mike continues on with his enevitable showdown with the evil vampire Eliza. One strange thing about this book I have to comment on is the feeling the story line takes on distinct characteristics of several popular zombie games. Most notably are the "tank" zombies and other "special infected" zombies made popular by the Left for Dead video games. I don't know if this was intentional by Mr. Tofu, but the similarity between the two is striking.

In a nutshell, fans of the first five novels will definitely like this addition to the series. All the main characters are back, and Tofu continues with the high octane non-stop action. And once again, Sean Runnette as the narrator gives an excellent performance.

    "well done!!"

Mark Tufo's writing style draws you in and hooks you from the start. The characters are 'real', aside from the zombies of course, and I think that's what sets his stories apart from the rest. He has created a relatable set of characters that will make you laugh, gag and sometimes cry.
I thought this one came to a nice conclusion but I know that Tufo is working on ZF7, due out towards the end of 2013.

Love the horror genre but read all kinds of stuff! I'm 40 something, a wife, mom and Project Manager for a large Construction Company.

    "Love these!"

I'm a huge Michael Talbot fan (he's the main character) and have listened to all 6. Actually liked the ending of this one, it all seemed to make sense. Got my husband listening to them to and he liked it as well. Not sure if I will get the other Michael Talbot books (about his college days and when he was younger), may take a peek if there is nothing else I am interested in at the time.

    "Wow!"

OMG, Sean Runnette makes me laugh so hard I have to pee! Mark, don't ever let anyone narrate your books but Sean! His droll humerous take on the completely neurotic Mike Talbot is simply the best there is and wholly apprropriate for this series! I love it!!! Absolutely love it! Now what am I going to do? I've read them all and I want more!

"Eh, okay. I like this series though!"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend the series, if not this specific book

    Any additional comments?

I like this series, and its a fun easy to listen to story, but this was surely and by far not the best in the bunch. I will still finish the series though! It wasn't bad or anything, just more like the step between the previous and the next books, instead of a great story on its own.

Would you listen to 'Til Death Do Us Part again? Why?

The fight scenes and gory descriptions will keep me coming back for more.

    Any additional comments?

A decent ending to the series. The story line tied up loose ends but left a thread for a next round of books. I thought book 5 &6 were the best in the series because the gross descriptions and creep-moments were off the chart!

Would you listen to 'Til Death Do Us Part again? Why?

Nope. I don't listen to any books twice. Too many books, not enough time.

What did you like best about this story?

    John the Tripper

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

He does Mike and BT so well, not to mention Denaux.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

I loved the sarcasm throughout the series, the thread of humor in the midst of the horror. But I enjoyed John the Tripper beyond all else this time around. An absolutely BRILLIANT character. I laughed out loud and hugged myself in self envy at several points during that section of the book. Bring him back. Please.
