Publisher's Summary

Mirror World is stirring, about to embrace the new global changes of its map.

Everyone is getting ready to colonize No-Man's Lands. The strongest clans send their best fighters on recon missions, impatient to make stakes for the juiciest locations.

Market prices have taken to the sky like flocks of scared pigeons. New alliances are struck while mercenaries upgrade their armor and grind edges on their swords. Their time is looming.

A war is coming to Mirror World.

Olgerd, too, is getting ready, a new goal already in his sights. The ancient Ennan City awaits him.

All he needs to do now is gain some strength.

    "From Grinding to Combat"

At first all Oleg wanted to do is to make enough money to pay for his daughter’s medical bills but fate and “Mirror World,” have given him another destiny. Oleg has put down his mining pick and picked up a sling shot as things in ”Mirror World,” have suddenly changed. The No-Man’s land has become the center of attention and clans are sending their best fighters to begin colonization. Oleg is no longer a grinder and has changed classifications as a new destiny waits. He and his pets need to level up and get their teeth in order to be ready for the upcoming battles as the Ennan city is waiting.
I like the change of pace in this series and am looking forward to the next book; can’t get enough of these LITRPG stories.

"Much better than 2nd book. Almost as good as 1st."

After being deeply disappointed by the second book poor plot line and irrational decisions. I only bought Outcast as a final try before placing this author as a one book fluke. The beginning is a little hard to accept. How this character can not research or learn anything that is common knowledge for a gamer. Or rather given the simple motivation that his daughter's life is attached to him playing well, he is too ignorant of basic knowledge. Constantly in the second book and first part of this book, he does not research or learn some basic relevant gaming practices or knowledge... In addition, his constant moaning and whining makes his character painfully unlikable. But finally he goes on his quests and the story gets a lot better and less about his inner monologue and paranoid nature.

    "Can't do it anymore"

The book starts so slow. Seriously it takes 20 minutes to describe a single action, with all the internal monologues.

Combined that with the MC's lack of common sense (why the hell cant he and why didn't he look up simple information? He said he studied for a week but still knew nothing) I can no longer follow this series. I have returned the book.

Aaaargh so frustrating, especially since it had so much potential.

    "Great detail. Fun read."

The hero is not your typical hero. He walks a twisted path and discovers hidden things as an accident. Sometimes luck is just with you.

    "Wow! It's progressing quite nicely."

Things are going well for the protagonist. He's the perfect reluctant hero. Doing his part while oblivious that his every action is thrusting him ever more into the spotlight. I can't say I didn't see it coming, but I can say I'm happy it is now.
