Publisher's summary

A malevolent presence dwells in the vale below the town of Siliven, and only the relic wall of the prophet Cabrien keeps it at bay. When a local girl, Annella Fenn, learns that her cousin has crossed the relic wall and entered the vale, her curiosity compels her to investigate. In the process, she inadvertently sets in motion events that put the whole town in danger. Now, she works feverishly to undo the damage, but she is dealing with an ancient magic that is far more powerful than she realizes, and the fate of the whole kingdom hangs in the balance.

Kept me interested!

This audio performance was really good! It kept me captivated and want to hear what would happen next. The characters came alive right away and I wanted to identify with them. The story itself was a little darker than I expected. I had to pause at those times and listen to music or something else for a bit. Then I wanted to hear what Annella does next so I hit play again. I don't know how R. Paul Matty did all those voices but they all sounded real to me!

Great Listen!

An unusual yet creative blend of fantasy and paranormal. The story kept me hanging on, wondering what was about to unfold and fascinated by the authors blend of characters and events. Great character depiction by the narrator. I felt every emotion the characters experienced, terror, anger, compassion, fear and more. A very interesting story that fires the mind...twilight zone like with a little gore. Can't wait to hear R. Paul Matty narrate Army of the Inner Eye!
