Every story a great pick. Every narrator a gem.

I have read all these stories before. Some, more than once. But, to me, every single one of these narrators did a fine job on these stories. I don't know exactly who read what. But, I especially appreciated the one who did The Time Machine, one of my favorite stories.
They all did a fine job of maintaining the style of stories from that time, if you catch my meaning. Imagine the voice you would associate with stories like these, and you will find them here.
This collection is over 24hrs long. But, I was still sorry to reach the end.
I'm looking forward to more.

Excellent!

This has some great stories. I had read most of them before, but it had been some time since I had read most of them. They are superb examples of early Sci-Fi.
The last story is, in my opinion, the best story to show that any extreme is bad.
I think most of the concepts in these stories are beyond children, but I recommend this book for all adults. It might even make you stop and think.

Cornerstone

solid Cornerstone absolutely great. these are the stories that future stories and movies are based on and some of these I've never read before. if you get any science fiction books at all from Audible and you haven't got this yet you're missing out

Another Pleasant Surprise

I'm not into sci-fi normally but got this because of the more universally well known authors and it was offered in a 2-for-1 sale. Also, the stories were supposed to be short so if I didn't like one I knew another would be along shortly.
The stories were often longer than expected but the voice talent was almost always on point. I also liked that the production of all the stories was simple so there wasn't a lot of extra sound effects or other things to distract. All the stories, except 1, were enjoyable. The unenjoyable one felt like a cliff notes version. With that said, I found myself more than once sitting in my car long after it had been parked so I could finish a story. This is well worth a credit so don't fret about it and enjoy :-)

A great anthology

Great collection of stories that are often heard any longer. Science-fiction was just better before the advantage so much new technology.

Classic sci-fi short story form

This collection of eleven short form sci-fi tales comprises the first half of slate of classics as determined by a bevy of best-known sci-fi writers. Extending back as early as 1895 with HG Wells’ Time Machine, the most recent is from 1957. Several of the novellas, such as Heinlein’s Universe or Williamson’s With Folded Hands were later lengthened into full length novels (Orphans in the Sky and The Humanoids, respectively). Poul Anderson’s Call Me Joe is noteworthy for some creative input into the film, Avatar.

Each tale has its own narrator. Overall, the narration is excellent with smooth pacing that makes for an exceptional listening experience.

Tremendous Value! Great way to explore sci-fi.

The stories are indeed worthy of the hall of fame status. Great content and performed earnestly across the multiple narrators.
