The answer lies in the new Dragonlance novella by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, which gazes into the future of Caramon and his mage-son, and into the dark nether-past of Raistlin.

Untold tales of Krynn.

Tales of sea monsters, dark elves, ice bears, hideous hydra-headed serpents, and loathsome draconian troops.

Further adventures of the kender Tas; the innkeepr Otic and young Tika; the dwarf Flint and Tanis, leader of the companions; Caramon and Raistlin, twin brothers, one, a genial warrior, the other, a sickly magician and scholar.

Nine short stories by superlative writers, plus an exciting new novella by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

The Dragonlance Saga goes on!

Do not purchase

The story in this book might be ok but the performance is so awful I had to stop listening. Truely awful don't waste credits on this.

Read the book description...

If I would of known it was a collection of short stories I would not have bought it. My mistake I will read the description next time. I’m going to try to get audible to refund my credit for this book. It’s just not my style of book.

A book I loved in childhood!

Where does The Magic of Krynn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Great!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Magic of Krynn?

My favorite story in the collection will always be "The Legacy"

What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He does a great job of giving every character a distinctive voice!

the narrator ruins it

This is a book of short stories. The stories are alright, but the narrator ruins it. I had to listen at 1.5x because of the narrator. He reminded me of a bad ghost story teller that I listened to when I was a kid sitting around a campfire. I'm half way through and I don’t think I can make it through the rest of the book. If you're a hard core Dragonlance fan you might be able to overlook the bad narration if you listen at 1.5x, but I doubt it.

Worst book I've read on Audible.

I really wanted to enjoy this book. Really, a friend gave it to me decades ago and I have been wanting to read it for years. I could not follow the story. 12 hours later I don't know what happened at all in the book. The reader did have some good voices and reads well hence 2 stars instead of one.

Worst Dragon Lance book ever!!

This was by fair the worst written book of the series thus far. It is a collection of short stories that have been poor matched and are in no real order. Pick any other dragon lance book and save your credit!

Possibly the worst narrator ever

I have been a fan of the works of Weis and Hickman for 30 years. This is the first audiobook of their work (even though in this case they were the editors) I have listened to. I am sure the stories are very good however the narrator is abysmal, his droning tones prevented me getting beyond the first 2 minutes.
