A very decent story for the fan

I really enjoyed the storyline, however, it was the narration that seemed to bog down the listing aspect of this book. in places it seem like there's no emotion when there should have been and some of the in action scenes seemed dulled out by tone. overall the story is good.

Great

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Great characters, very good atypical main character. Good job taking an individual adventure and tying it to a grand scheme evil plan.

What does Brian Troxell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Brings characters alive

Annoying Sidekick

I'm giving this 1 star overall due to the seriously annoying companion for the main character. It wasn't the performance, it was the dialogue for that one character. Awful. Excellent story, and engrossing. That bat was beyond irksome - the entire book would have been so mich better if it hadn't been able to talk.

Mehhh...

Just too bland for my taste. Didn't connect with the characters or story. The narration was ok.
