Publisher's summary

A captain coming into his own. A handful of refugees stranded on board. A possible traitor in their midst. A voyage into the territory of the very enemy that pursues them. Sometimes legends become realities in unexpected ways. It seems that fate has the crew of the Aurora firmly in its clutches.

What space battles should be

This book at the greatest space battle ever written to paper. It was so fun to imagine the described action. Spectacular!!

The ending is legendary!

Book number 3 and it keeps on getting better and better! The battles and confrontations are still plentiful and realistic, not damned and blood lettings that interrupt the flow of the book. The characters are diverse and each contribute to the book. The 'good guys' all have a sense of humor and it livens the book up for the enjoyment of the listener. Kafer does his usual job: Excellent! Thank the gods of audio, he's not a screamer or whisperer so you're not listening with finger planted on volume control! I recommend The Legend of Corinair to all that like a lively book !

My new Saturday morning cartoon

These are just fun. Not substantial, mind expanding, or awe inspiring. Nathan is less whiney, but not much. Vlad the engineer is great, the story is fun. Mr. Brown’s notion of economics is pretty laughable but at least and you gotta love spaceships which accelerate toward you for hours or days turning on a dime and heading the other direction.

Yep, I’m on to the next.

Still too short, but a good story

While still a bit miffed at Audible for not compiling the last three books together, at least the story has me wanting more.

I Love Where the Story is Going!

Some have mentioned this book is too short to stand on it's own at just over 6 hours. I respectfully disagree as Ryk Brown is an author that can deliver as much action and story in 6 hours as a 10 hour book that would offer descriptions of how sunlight flickers of a ship hull in space etc.

Well developed characters and a full storyline. Looking forward to the next in the series!

a fantastic addition to my new favorite series

I love the story. I love the characters. I love the technology. I love the setting. I'm having trouble thinking about if anything I don't love about these books.

Too short

Too short for the price. Is seems that the entire series is this way. Otherwise, good.

Good story, combine books 2 & 3 Audible!

This story is getting more interesting as it develops. However my complaint, like other reviewers, is that it's a bit of a rip-off that books 2 and 3 are short. these two should be combined. Books 2 & 3 are mostly character development and the first use of the jump drive in a tactical sense so that's an improvement.
