Fun alien short story.

This was just a fun little short story about aliens, not a whole lot of depth or world building but a nice creepy atmosphere and interesting little creatures. Listened during a short road trip and it keep my attention. I wished it had been longer.
Wasn't sure about the narrator at 1st, but the longer I listened he was perfect for the story.

Pray That It Was Just A Spider's Web!

What made the experience of listening to The Exoterrestrials the most enjoyable?

The narration was cool, dark, and fit the feeling and purpose of the story.

What other book might you compare The Exoterrestrials to and why?

Not as much a book but as a movie line it would be between Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Troll. The stories are of people that need to be "addressed" and what happens to the naughty boys and girls if they stray too far from home.

What about Johnnie C. Hayes’s performance did you like?

Like Leonard Cohen mixed with Rod Serling, there is something deeply morose but at the same time well placed about his voice that makes the story reach out and take a hold of you.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The first time a full corpse from the "baggy killer" is found and the assigned officer is unable to hold his lunch in.

Any additional comments?

I will never feel the same way about the scent of cinnamon

a book that surprises.

normally I don't like sci fi. but this book is not unlike the campfire stories I heard growing up. I won't ruin anything but Todd does not disappoint. its a amusing take on aliens and even after a year of having it. I still remember the plot well.

Unique

I find the story original and intriguing. The tone of voice that the narrator used suited the story. I might stay away from cinnamon for a while.

Too short! i wan't more :)

I really liked this story. It was a bit too short, i would have enjoyed more details along with a more character developments for the exoterrestrials as well as the demon hunter guy. Definitely gives a new twist on new neighbors!! Loved it and will most likely listen to it again sometime soon :)

Beware of spiderwebs and cinnamon

T. W. Brown's The Exotertestrials is an interesting and original story that will leave you feeling cautionary about spiderwebs and the smell of cinnamon. Great plot, well written and a definite re-read when I'm looking for a good, quick creep out.

The story is Narrated by Johnnie C Hayes who does a great job at bringing the chilling mood of the story to the listener. Very easy to immerse self in the story.
