How many lives would you spend to find your beloved?

Dominick Davidner was murdered. Then things got worse.

Instead of going on to the afterlife, Dominick found himself back in his nine-year-old body, all memories of his previous life intact. All he can think about is Emily, the love of his life, left behind when he died.

Unfortunately, she is now thousands of miles away. How can Dominick find his way back to the woman he loves, and what will he say if he finds her?

Brilliant!

So far, books one and three have been excellent. Two was a little bit less so. I am going right into book four now with excited anticipation. I can't wait for the others in the series to be recorded!

A good read but not quite as good as the first two

The first two books were better and it was hard for me to deal with the main character's love struck dumbness but if you like the series it'll probably be worth the credit.

Enjoyed it!

Have read the first three Middle Falls books and enjoyed them all. I like having the characters from the other books show up in each successive book so you can see how they've each progressed separately through their multiple lives. Also like the narrator very much. He's able to give each character their own distinct voice, easily recognized even when not specifically identified in the text. Highly recommend. I will be purchasing the entire series and look forward to many hours of enjoyment.

Good but not great

The author states in his afterword that this book came very easy to him it was almost like a dictation. Well if you read the second book then I would say it was a dictation. Much of the second book is repeated in this book and was very boring to hear that story told again. Towards the end of the book of course when Dominic moves on it gets better and I did enjoy that part.

Good trilogy recommend

Well performed entertaining story. Creative and different story, I recommend the initial trilogy and plan to go on to the next.

Not as good as the 1st two but still darn good.

My only gripe with book 3 is the heavy use of portions from book two almost verbatim for the first 28 chapters or so. So you can skip ahead or listen on 2xs speed up until then. After that the story becomes its own and is enjoyable.

Not As Good As 1 and 2, But Still Great!

This was the third book in this series that I've read. So far, this one is my least favorite, but it was still good.

Dominick and Emily are happily married middle-aged teachers. A student enters Dominick's class and begins shooting. Dominick throws himself in front of a bullet, saving one of his students in the process, and wakes up in his 9 year-old body. Thus begins his journey.

His whole focus is on meeting his wife, Emily, so they can resume their life together. I feel like not enough time was spent conveying why he is so fixated with her. Other than being attractive, we're not really led to believe she possesses anything special. They don't travel. They never had children. Based on what we're told, they have spent their life together just going to work and coming home. So it was hard for me to understand that given the chance to live his life over again, all he wanted to do was meet her. Like he didn't have any type of character without her. I got a little frustrated with him at times.

I was happy that he finally decided to put their meeting on hold and actually LIVE his life, travel, gain experiences. I felt (like many other reviewers) that too much time was spent rehashing his military school experience especially since it turned out to be completely irrelevant.

I liked how other characters from previous books in the series were integrated. I had to remind myself WHICH time line we were in. I had to remind myself where Michael Hollister was in the final time line.

I have to admit, I was a little confused about Emily's roll at the end. I don't want to throw my theories out there because it would be a spoiler for those who haven't read it yet. I'm thinking....what happened to Dominick at the beginning led her to do *something*...ugh, I wish I had someone to discuss this series with. It is SO good. It makes me keep thinking what I would do differently given the chance. Or how other people, given the chance, could completely change history. Already started book four. I am so happy that there are so many books in this series. Shawn Inmon has quickly become one of my favorite authors.

Thank you so much Audible for including these books in the Plus Catalog!
