If you are a Rangers Apprentice fan this is a must
burned thru this in 2 days on a road trip. few pauses because it is such a fun prequel. I think narrator is perfect for this story. his is the voice I hear when I read these now.

Great story, helps explain some of the characters introduced later in the story and sets the scene for the Araluen Will, Horace, and Cassandra grow up in.

The development of characters and situations of this world are creative and enjoyable. If you enjoy humor mixed in with relatable content, this is your series.
