Loved this book

I really enjoyed the way they still believes in a higher power after all truth was revealed. The idea of angels on earth is awesome.

This world has radios but no telescopes?

I have loved and still do love this epic saga. however, For some reason nobody has developed a simple telescope, which is much earlier tech our real life world, pointed it to the heavens and simply seen the orbiting ship! I love the story but the author is CLEARLY avoiding this rather glaring issue for plot convenience. otherwise I would give a five star on the story.

Is it disappointing?

This book started slow and almost disappointing, but it recovered itself towards the end, overall. I'll still listen to the next book as I am 3 books in now, but things feel a little far fetched and I'm hoping that she is able to carry through with the way the book ended.

The reader does a good job, but I do have to up the speed some because she is a bit slow, but that could also be the recording engineer's decision. Not much of a problem for this book because Audible does provide the ability to speed it up.

There are so many amazing moments in this book. I couldn't possibly chose one.
