Mr. Bickel and Mr. Brick… what a team.

I can hardly wait to see where these 2 take us next? A totally new story concept presented by my favorite narrator-They now have a devout follower of their efforts.

A good quick listen

Short and sweet, I enjoyed it. I thought that some of the context was implied from other books in his genre.

Cyber who done it.

Bucknell has. great imagination and feeling for what our future might look like. The trop of a gritty Sam Spade type in a futuristic place was well handled.

Good Characters, Would love to See it Fleshed Out

Pretty much says everything I meant to. I like the characters. I would like to see them in an expanded story, I like this kind of Geriatric Badass character a lot, seems like you could put a lot into his history and do tons with the experiences touched on here. And the Voice of the Modern girl is a nice female character, doesn't do too much of the simpering, speaks out in a way that comes across nowadays as a little shrill, but within the context of the story you can kind of see she's right... and in time this will be an appropriate norm. I like it, maybe I don't have the words to get into it without spoilers and I don't care enough to get into all that. it's short, it's good, just give it an hour and if you don't like it or get confused (I started over and got it a lot better the second time, in part because I listened all the way through) set it aside or put it back.

At the absolute least it's worth the test hour. But I liked it more than that.

Great reading, pleasant story, character development and plot. A definite recommended listening, you will not regret it.

Not for me

Scott Brick (the narrator) was superb, as always. The story just didn't work for me.
