Publisher's Summary

Control dinosaurs.

Tame women.

Rule the world.

Victor Shelby ends each day wondering when his life is going to get better. His parents are dead, he struggles to pay rent, and his boss at the animal control shelter has him cleaning cages instead of working in the field. His dream of helping animals seems destined to end in a mop bucket.

Then, Victor is abducted by aliens and deposited on a prehistoric world filled with hungry dinosaurs and beautiful alien women.

He doesn’t know why he is here or what his purpose is, but he finds himself fighting for survival. Most men would have been lizard kibble in a few moments, but Victor’s natural ability to empathize with animals has grown stronger, and he finds himself able to control the most docile of the terrible lizards.

Victor will have to use his taming powers to provide food, water, and shelter for the three women that he has sworn to protect. Success means they get to live another day; failure means a horrible death in the jaws of Earth’s most deadly predators.

Disclaimer: This audiobook has ravaging dinosaurs, a lot of cursing, extreme violence, and a harem of exotic alien women. The novel is not meant for people under the age of 18.

Not what I was expecting.

This is a great start to a new series. I thought the book was going to be at a typical LITRPG with main character gets all the boost. That's not be here, he is actually a character that is believable. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

If Destiny's Crucible and Jurassic park had a kid

I will tell you right off the bat this book is worth your credit.

Now with that being said this book is not for everyone, for the first half of this book it is really hard to listen to because the MC will not shut up about how pretty the girls he is with are. This nonstop talk about how pretty alien girls are, it's just face palm embarrassing to hear. it is not sexy which is sad because if the story would have just given less detail about how the alien girls looked. Are imagination would do a far better job then what the book tells us.

I tell you this flaw in the book because, this is by far the biggest problem, any listener with have to over come to enjoy the story.Good news is the writing is good and when it starts going it really starts going. There is a flow to the story that makes it really hard to put it down.
Not going to lie it is really cool to hear how people with not metal! have to build weapons and fortifications with just there wits. All in all a really good story about a man who starts as a dog catcher and slowly becomes Turok.

P.S don't forget to hit the helpful

Such great potential, poor execution

Told through the perspective of a 20-year-old, but feels like it was written by a 16-year-old. The characters have very little depth aside from the personality that Daniels gives them and the depth of their “voluptuous curves” as pointed out by the main character every other line.
The premise of the story is interesting but the author should really try to get himself laid before writing the next one. Save the ridiculous teenage sexual fantasies for a book where that might be relevant to the storyline in any way at all.

Nope I tried I really did

maybe if the guy wasnt such a worthless twit I'd think about finishing this book. Hes so cringe worthy spineless that it makes it hard to listen to any of this. He literally stumbles and falls over every girl he comes across and has the back bone of 20 something year old virgin living in his mothers basement. Sorry but no.

Cool world cool promise waste

Who is too much time on the harem stuff and it doesn't really dive into the powers which should be the main focus other than that it's pretty decent

MSE delivers another book I like

if you're a fan of Michael Scott Earl and his other books then chances are you'll also like this one. this book has strong female characters that are also sexy and a male character that is cool and is also a work in progress. he's not on fit but he's also not going to be mistaken for someone who lives in the gym

Good, a bit dragging, lots of sexual suggestions

the story sounds like it was written by a Californian surfer (the way he describes things) but with a literacy degree. story emphasized too much on the slow parts (surviving, building, etc...) of the story but the exciting parts were also pretty awesome. one could describe the whole story in one paragraph. narrator is talented. voices were distinct. narrating quotes from characters aside, the way he narrates the story is less enticing (like I don't feel lured in by the voice)

a serviceable isekai power fantasy

While fun in concept, with a good voice reading it I find the way he comes to "Tame" and own the women around him rather... Off-putting. I liked the initial idea of a Dominant, a submissive, and a free-love hippy as the three waifus. Unfortunately by the end literally all of them switch to just viewing him as the one in charge cause he's the guy. Even this would be less off-putting if the character himself brought it up and title out with them and allowed them to express these desires in a more self actualized way. But, yeah the idea of winning and accumulating women like objects in an inventory can definitely play into some toxic views of male/female relationships.

That all being said I'll probably buy the next in the series. It's really trashy but I can enjoy it for what it is.
