An awesome book about Darth plagueis and the rise of palpatine. Any questions that I had about movies 1-3 are now answered and it all makes perfect sense.

If we're speaking in terms of Netflix, Darth Plagueis resides at the intersection of House of Cards and Marco Polo. Equal parts dark cerebral triller and epic adventure Darth Plagueis tracks the life of Hego Damask the once disenfranchised Muun who become a financial giant in the galaxy. This riveting joyride flies through hyperspace so watch out, you might want to rewind to make sure you get all the pieces. I know I did. I give this one five stars down the board and hope Natflix picks this up as a 4-5 seadon tv series.

The Eyes

I've never read or listened to a Star Wars book before, but I've seen all of the movies several times, and played a decent amount of their games. The story is impeccable albeit heavy on the political side, which all of Star Wars is really. The visuals that were painted as I listened were bar none comparison to the films. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking to get a little of what's going on outside of the films.

I began this book believing that it was going to be really good but it blew my expectations away. Also, the first audio book I've listened to and the narrator was much better than expected.

Must read

This book filled-in a dozen holes that I had. It's a must read to understand the background for Star Wars. Very well narrated.
