Welcome to Chilo, a planet with corrosive rain, crushing pressure, and deadly heat. Timas's life is turned upside down when a strange man crash lands on the city. The newcomer is fleeing an alien intelligence intent on invading the planet and discovering the secret hidden deep inside the perpetual storm - a secret that could lead to interplanetary war. As the invaded cities fall silent one by one, Chilo's citizens must race against time to stop the enemy. And Timas will find out what kind of man he has become in the harsh conditions of Chilo's surface.

When is someone going to make a movie of this?
Best book in the series! Not to be missed.
Delightful, engaging, action packed and riveting.
Sci-Fi at its best: new worlds, Raggae And Zombies!! Who could ask for anything more!
The performance is wonderful and the story is great. Right down to the last chapter.

So much more than your typical space opera
I really enjoyed this book. There's more political drama in this one- but plenty of battles & action as well. (lots of zombies) I like the massive time gap between this book & the previous - the worlds have changed but Pepper hasn't. I'm really curious to see what happens to the Xenowealth next.
Prentice Onayemi is a fantastic narrator. I would definitely listen to other books narrated by him.
