Publisher's Summary

When children go missing and the humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope for bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker.

O'Shea is AWOL, and tracking him is proving to be harder than I expected. Not to mention the small fact that I have the Beast of Bodmin Moor chasing me across Europe in a race against the odds, with my life as the prize.

But those things are minor compared to the secrets that finally come to light. Secrets I wish had stayed hidden in the darkness....

Action packed & entertaining

Good story - really does keep your interest .
The narrator was irritating in the first 3 books in this series , but has improved in this book.

enjoyed the story but the higher voice turn off.<br />

I didn't realize I had not listed to the first three books in the series which I also own, which was my mistake. not only did I miss out on a great deal of the story but I was not prepared for the narrator higher pitched very young sounding voice. it made me feel as though I was listening to one of my children read it although with much clearer diction and voices for character that were identifiable and clear. if her pitch was half to a full octive lower I would have enjoyed the book greatly. she is tallented and would do wonders in book for say children that respond well her type of voice and would go crazy for the voices she can do. even books where the main character is no older than sixteen her voice would be an asset, however the 14 year old mage in the book was not the main character Rylee is. the voice should better resemble a person that sounds older than 12-16.

Better than ever!!

The fantastic story of Rylee and her group of misfits continue. What is interesting is the change in O'Shea and Rylee finds her sister. Sister's relationship change and can Rylee live with the change?

Best one yet, sailor language and all

I love these books they are so descriptive and well written. But you need to be aware of sailor language in the mall.

Another home run

Action packed story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What do you get when a Tracker, a werewolf and a harpy travel to England? One hell of a messy adventure. A must listen.

A winner!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Great plot, storyline, & character development. Constant action. No boring lengthy descriptions about the scenery. Believable and adoring characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shadowed Threads?

The chase scenes with the guardian werecat. The fight scene between Rylee & the dragon. Too many to count!!

Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Ms. Galvin did an excellent job! Much improved over her earlier performance. Characters have unique voices.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Rylee's loneliness towards the end of the book. Nice to see even strong heroines have their down moments.

Any additional comments?

Though you could start with this book, book # 4, you really should start with books 1-3 in the omnibus collection. Book 4 builds on the prior stories. Hope Ms. Mayer plans to complete all 10 books in audiobook!

Not just a tracker

Well I have got use to the narration, not my favourite narrator as explained in my last reviews she always sounds urgent, however I am liking the books and the characters. Rylee meets more and more characters that she welcomes in to her pack. All of the likable, she continues to track children but this has taken a back seat to vampire politics. We also finally find out what happened to be sister. Now on book 4 this has definitely been my favourite so far.
