Don't get me wrong, waking up to discover my ex-husband finally killed me wasn't fun. Finding out I had to get a job and pay Afterlife taxes about 10 minutes later? Highly entertaining
I really enjoyed this book. It seemed to wrap up loose ends from the previous books and sets the stage for future books. Brooke learns more about her past life and what she is capable of doing. Maddaock isn't a complete a$$. She finally puts the witches in their place and clears her name. There is a lot going on in this book, and, I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Also, Angela Dawe does a great job with the accents and bringing all of the characters to life.

Not Enough Scottish Maddick
Nope this author is not for me even with Ms Dawes narration!!! Maybe if there had been more of Maddick but he was hardly in this story. Yes the wolf companion helps but again juvenile dialogue made me roll my eyes way too many times.
