There cannot be shadows without the light.

Samantha and her black ops team continue their romp across the universe to defeat the mind-controlling Scrapulent, defeat the armada of space pirates, and save the Three Kings of Orion. She might also finally learn who her father is.

Join the Shadow Corps as they destroy their enemy and ensure the safety of all that is good, while leveling out their sword and weapons to match the hard core skill tree attacks they've attained through leveling up.

publisher failed... everyone failed this author

There is so much wrong with this series. I'd hate to spend more time writing a review than the author spent writing content... spoiled rotten manly princess of a main character the universe owes. 1 clique after the other. free woke BS. Someone should have proof read this series before going to publication. Men are the weaker sex, women shouldn't show emotion even though there's nothing wrong with emotions. non sex creatures are the best. "the seer saw?" The author stacked the universe in favor of the main character. Weak character development... I'm not saying writing is easy. I'm saying leave it to the professionals IE the ones who take it seriously. Just because you get paid to write doesn't make you a professional. I feel as if I was proof reading a document PhDs would red marker every sentence. nothing sat right with this whole production make the author redo it. good thing it was free. what can be said? it's not for grown-ups? why would you expose kids to crap writing. and the preteen preaching to the universe about modesty? this feels like woke gender type indoctrination? there are 100s of great authors out there. I'm going to carve the name Justin sloan in the dash of my truck and into my stainless steel refrigerator and bathroom mirror so I don't forget and accidentally get another one of his books. watch the series Gotham and you'll see women that are "badass" because they are. watch the series super girl and you'll see women who are bad ass because they say they are and then need a man to save them. you'll see the difference I'm talking about. this series is pandering to someone I don't know who. the narrator did the best they could, but needs to stick to fewer than 3 characters. it gets tough separating who's who in the overall grand scheme of things.

Another great installment!

This was a fast paced and action filled installment. I just wonder if Sam will ever grow up. Keeping her as a teenager while everyone around her is clearly older might be the only drag, since there are some adult situations. It is still worth a listen. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Fire and Brimstone!

Samantha and the Black Ops Intergalactic Team of Assassins remain in the Shadow Worlds planning to deal with the space pirates. Unable to kill Captain Prax at the end of the prior volume, the Team sets its sights on the pirate leader Brimstone. Could the pirates be enticed into the fight against The Great Deceivers? The battle at Hell’s Gate may be a turning point. Mintaka, the last of the Guardians, must be saved. The Potentate of The Syndicate must be eliminated. Surprises for Samantha heighten enjoyment. Samantha and Hadrian make a considerable force, but will they be enough against The Syndicate?
