I'm loving this series! Terry really does it for me, I love the way he writes. The narrator is awesome and really draws you into the story. I highly recommend this series!

This book had everything . I have read all of the Sword of Truth books and this is by far top 3. like on the edge of your seat straight thriller shit.

Pretty Much What I'd Expect
Would you listen to Severed Souls again? Why?
Yes. I plan to. As you'd expect from Terry Goodkind, there are a lot of things going on in this book. And since this book leaves you hanging for the next one in the series, I'll probably read it again just before the next one is released (hopefully there will be one).
Would you be willing to try another book from Terry Goodkind? Why or why not?
Absolutely. I've read all of his books, and am a huge fan.
What does Sam Tsoutsouvas bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I'll admit I chose this format more as a convenience because I was on a car trip, but thought it was performed excellently, with good pace. It was easy to get lost in the story, and I appreciate that he didn't over-do it as some do on audio books.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Well, the ending...but I'm not going to spoil that for anyone who hasn't read it.
Any additional comments?
I wish they'd taken a little more time to edit out overly repetitive sections, though. There are only so many times I need to hear why the character is doing something and the story behind it. At times in this one, things were explained two, three, even four or more times in relatively short succession. In the written books it's easier to skip over those parts. But in the end, I still love the story and those I can deal with easy enough. Editing a few out would just be a small improvement.

This book upset me
I think SOT series could do without some of the unthinkable things that happened in this book. The narrator, Sam, did phenomenal as always. I will obviously continue with the series in hopes of a positive outcome.
