Publisher's summary

"No one harms my family."

Alien invaders have come to Earth.

Rade, vacationing in the south of France, is mightily pissed to have his liberty time so rudely interrupted by these extraterrestrials. But he was willing to let it go. He was done fighting wars, and more than ready to leave the grunt work to the professionals.

But then the aliens made the mistake of bringing his family into the equation.

Ouch.

The invaders were counting on humanity falling quickly.

What they weren't counting on was Rade's fury.

Worth every penny!

I am now moving HAPPILY on to Book 8. This series has been a wonderful ride! Lots of heart wrenching moments from Book 7. looking forward to the next book, and NOT happily looking forward to the series getting soo close to finishing. The audible narration is amazing, and really drives home everyone's own personal identities.

Fantastic Continuation of the Argonauts Series

Isaac Hooke and Luke Daniels have done it again. Love the characters, and the situations they get themselves in that they have to then extricate themselves from. There is some great tech and the missions that Rade and the Argonauts go on are always good fun. Funny and interesting twist at the end, I won’t spoil it but let’s just say the infiltration of alien motherships is always quite a trip :)

Better than the last book

I enjoyed it the change of scenery in this book. I also like how they addressed bender and kind of why he acts the way he does. That character bothered me quite a bit in the last book but it was much nicer in this one. I can’t wait to listen to the last book.

Great series, highly recommend

This entire series has been great. Normally by this point in a series the writer starts getting lazy and making his characters do idiotic things that are way out of character to move the story forward. So far that hasn’t happened. The story moves forward naturally and keeps you interested. In case you don’t know what I mean I’ll give some examples. Some series start out great. Then all of a sudden the 20 year navy seal veteran “forgets” his rifle next to his bed and walks down a dark hallway to investigate a sound. Or that same “badass” forgets to load his rifle or can’t hit a target 10 feet in front of him and half his team is wiped out. As you can tell that’s a sore spot. I have dropped quite a few series for that type of lazy writing. The characters in Argonauts are interesting and likable. Their actions are believable and in character. I love this series so far and recommend it to anyone looking for an action packed military type story. The futuristic equipment used is well thought out and explained well. The voice actor is also great. He uses different voices well and it’s easy to follow along with the story. Great series.

ehhhhh

Even free this series of books cost too much.

Weak story line. Mediocre job reading it.

Better book except for the sloppy ending.

My main annoyance with this series has been Bender. In my opinion, his forced crudeness adds nothing to the story. About the story, like the other books in the series, there are good parts. However, the author continues to use "magic" fixes that materialize out of thin air and solve an unsolvable crisis. The ending, like The Wizard of Oz, is to click your heels and wish for everything to be okay again. Without these magic fixes, the Argonauts would be toast.

Getting pretty dumb

There is so much to not like about this series I don't know
where to start.

Benter and Manic; it really makes me think the author
might be warped himself.

Rade the main character, is an idiot who keeps getting
everyone into impossible situations and miraculously
everything turns out alright.

If this series weren't free, I couldn't have it this far.
