perfect foil to thousand sons!

after Thousabd Sons I despised the Soace Wolves. Dan Abnett has worked his magic once again. They are humanized (so to speak) and you learn so much of their culture. Gareth Armstrong provided top not narration has he usually does. Incredible storyline I shed a tear at the end.

Until next winter.

Worth getting through

It starts slow. however becomes very interesting. The mystery of the character's past drives the story.

Really Slow Start

It could have just been me, but the first 4 hrs of this book was really boring and nothing really interesting or engaging was happening till after those first 4 hrs, some if it gets tied back in later but it just kind of dragged up until the 4 hr mark.

You don't know a legion

You really don't know a legion until you hear their stories. I used to think I wouldn't like the space wolves and now I'm afraid they might be my favorite!

The best book in the Horus Heresy series.

This is the best book in the Horus Heresy series. I can not recommend it highly enough. It may be helpful to read A Thousand Sons first for background. Even if you are not a fan of the Wolves, it is well worth a try.
