Publisher's summary

An ancient group intends to decimate the human population and convert the remainder to slaves. Their only internal disagreement was the method. Jaeger Kunstler was their monster, but would he remain loyal, or turn rebel agent?

Deepak Advani created Aura and dedicated his life to her keeping. But Aura was doomed by a fatwa.

The Pa'an's cosmic construction project created gravity waves that caused minor earthquakes. Governments did not want the source of those waves disclosed.

And then the Pa'an Ambassor contacted Aura, and all hell let loose.

Sci-finest!

Jack de Golia deserves a lot of praise for his narration, I had never heard him before, but was impressed with his range and ability. He does a grerat job maintaining all the various threads and characters, and does not let them get away from him.

Brody weaves a tale that consists of multple events, aliens, and A.I. H clearly knows his science, but doesn't bog the listener/reader down with it. He provides enough to teach what you need to know or understand about a subject and then swivels seamlessly back into the story.

This is a good first book, and I expect the second will build on all of the ideas and concepts started here. I don't like to give out any spoilers, but I will say that there are aliens of different varieties and different intent on what to do with humanity. The pacing is smart, and the characters will hold your interest. Enjoy it and you'll be waiting for the second.
