Love the voices!

I couldn't stop listening! Every time I was in the car and eventually anytime I could I was listening. The voices were great. It's easy when reading to forget that certain characters have different accents so it was a pleasant surprise to be reminded of them. Lorelei King did great!

I absolutely love the Mercy Thompson series!! I hope there will be more books in the series!!
If you like a strong female lead that gets into some crazy dangerous situations but isn't TSTL then you'll love Mercy & the world she lives in.

That was the best!!!!!! My favorite Mercy Thompson book so far. Wow!! What a story!! The action, the complicated relationships and the new characters worked wonders. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, totally enthralled by this story. Patricia Briggs outdid herself! After the last book, I thought there was no way Patricia would be able to find a more malevolent enemy for Mercy to fight. I was wrong!

I also loved to discover more about who Mercy is. I used to think that it would be cool to be a werewolf, now being a shapeshifter is IT. There so much I would love to say about this book, but I would give out too much and spoil it for whoever is reading this review.

Mercy Thompson books can be read individually, but I would recommend that you start with the first one (Moon Called) to really understand the complicated relationships between the characters and see how this kick ass shapeshifter is brilliant. You won't regret reading or listening the eight books anyway, they are all pure magic!

It took me a little while to get into this book. It didn't like Christy being around Adam, and the affect she has on everyone. But it was a nice change from Mercy getting her self into trouble all the time.

Love the Mercy Thompson series. Can't wait for the latest addition. Lorelei King is amazing as always and flawlessly voices all of the wonderful magical characters of the series.
