Publisher's summary

Harry Wollenstein is a regular guy. He loves his ranch, his dogs, and beer. He's just a normal dude except that he makes his living fighting in brutal virtual wars. For him, money is short, and like everyone, he needs to make enough to get by.

When a huge battle is announced in the capital city New Eden, Harry will do anything to qualify. The only problem is that battles are controlled by Overseers, and Harry has some history with the Overseer of New Eden. Things aren't going to be easy for him.

When fighters enter the battlefield, the real-world cities give way to fantasy lands filled whatever horrific creatures that the Overseers' cruel minds conjure up. The combatants wield swords, runes, skills, and spells in digital death battles.

The fights might be virtual, but the danger is real. For Harry, the stakes couldn't be any higher.

Ok story, horrible narration edit.

Story itself was decent but the narration was choppy with words, sentences and paragraphs that abruptly end.

Great story, horrible audio/performance

I had to keep it at a 4 because I really did enjoy the storyline and plot. Yes, there was some PUBG or Fortnite similarities but so what haha. This take hasn’t been done before and I loved it. The only thing bringing down the rating was the horrid audio. There were sooo many clips, double takes, and other performance issues that it was really a struggle to finish this. I would advice to start from scratch or have them clean it up again before continuing to sell. It isn’t worth the money for an unfinished product. I would recommend buying the book and reading though because the author did a great job.

Voice

This would have been better if someone else had voiced by a better voice actor. The narrator had no inflections

thief.

story of intellectual thievery. they stole the entire outline of pub g , player unknowns battle grounds and turned it midevil. then, added some wishy washy story about this "pre apocalyptic" world.
the narrator recorded the narration on his phone sitting in a public bathroom, at least he may as well have. the sound quality is horse. and the glitches in narration are horrendous. I dont blame audible for the issues either. they were issues with the final mastering of the sound tracks. total horse. dont buy. unless you use a credit you can return for it back with. ish. just the theft of an entire outline of your game in your litrpg book is beyond lazy writing its theft. ish.
