Since moving to Mystic Harbor, Maine, I've made it my life's mission to avoid Reese Blackburn at all costs. Sure, he has cheekbones that could cut glass, not to mention bedroom eyes that could melt any girl into a puddle on the floor. Too bad that doesn't change the fact he's completely stab-worthy. When a fun night out on the town turns deadly, I quickly discover the quaint little hamlet of Mystic Harbor houses more than sandy beaches and adorable B&Bs. Beneath the New England charm rests a world where shifters, demons, vampires, and angelic hunters all vie for power.

At least her outer village is far removed from the cities of the sols, and she won't ever be forced to present herself to them... As an environmental studies major, Allie knows the planet is in trouble - a series of natural disasters recently rocked the northern hemisphere, and species across the globe are going extinct. What Allie doesn't know is that her world's decline is a result of an ancient battle called the Night War - the Norse goddess Nott's crusade to control the weakest of the light realms. And Allie most definitely doesn't know that her existence is the only thing stopping Nott from dragging the earth into total darkness.
Hi, I'm Alexis Delaney. I'm your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead. And push them away and, well, help them move on. For years I've been struggling to survive the souls still roaming around. The shitheads always seem to find me. Moving from town to town every few months never helped either. More dead just always find me. But things are changing for me now. I'm moving in with my uncle Rory and cousin Tara. I'm finally going to be able to do normal teenage stuff I've been missing out on. Right?

Bastian had to have been the most handsome man that Katherine had ever met. It really was unfortunate that he was also the most stubborn, controlling, downright infuriating jackass she'd ever known as well. Oh, and there was the fact that he was a werewolf - a werewolf who has bitten her. Sixteen-year-old Katherine Mayes had never believed in mythological creatures like werewolves or mermaids - certainly not those sparkly vampires that her friend Abby was obsessed with.

Shelby Brooks learned she is a werewolf on the same night she learned that love and betrayal go hand in hand. She was 16. Now, going into her senior year in a new town, love is the last thing Shelby is looking for, but she finds herself irresistibly drawn to Kale, the son of an Alpha. As her heart slowly reopens to the possibility of happiness, threats mount, and her very presence brings mortal danger to Kale and his entire pack. Is her destiny to be a savior? "My name is Larkspur, and I am an Elemental." My people use the power of the earth to sustain life and defy our enemies. I should be at my father's side as a royal princess. I have only two options left to me: banishment, or training to become one of the King's Elite Guards, an Ender. Option one will kill me. Having the princes gang raped by no less than seven guys was way over the top and ruined the whole tone of what was a nice YA themed story...It didn’t even fit with the rest of the story I could’ve seen her thrown in the dungeon or abused or whatever but it was just way over-the-top the gang rape

Yes, there is a emotionally rough part of the book. That part was not written in a disgusting fashion, but emotionally charged. I cried at the part and several other parts.
This series keeps yanking your chain the progression is way to slow and there is a lot of filler that does not need to be there. I do like the direction it is going but this book really tries my patience.
I hated this book after the main character went through something really terrible. I didn’t think it was necessary and I still don’t. With that being said, I was won over my the end of the book. The author recaptured my attention with the story. Just bear with the terrible scene and wait for the story to rebuild.
I still stand by the narrator being fantastic.
Could have done without about an hour of reminiscing, but it is still very good.
The first 3 books I spent being mad at Blake for being stupid and mean towards Alaina. This book I was so mad at Alaina. I understand how she felt but she never listened to anyone in book 4. Even worse she never let anyone explain and was seriously mean towards her friends. I'm glad it ended on a good note.
There is just so much that happened in this book I do not think a book has made me cry more. just so many feelings happy and sad.
Ths book was very long but I just could not put it down I read it in 2 days.
And these two narrator are one of the reasons why I absolutely love audio books. they make the book so much more of an experience than just reading it. I loved all of the different voices that they give to eat character and how that plays into the story and make everything so much more.
I am NOT sure what my favorite part of the book is but Elena speech at the end to the council was so amazing.
I cannot wait to download the last book and see what her and Blake get into.
I absolutely love this series and totally think it should be made into a show or a movie!
narrator is amazing as usual but everyone kept repeating themselves over and over and i ended up rolling my eyes alot towards the second half of the book
I've listened to all 4 books in 2weeks. So involved with it. Took me away. I really need another please!
i regret wasting my money on this book series i wont read the next, not only the main characters have no development what so ever the story itself is disgusting and dragging, PS I WARN THE READERS THAT THERE IS A DETAILED AND DESCRIPTIVE GANG RAPE ON THE MAIN IDIOTIC PROTAGONIST! i regret the time wasted on this book, definitely stops here.
