Publisher's Summary

Book two of the Omnifex Chronicles series.

Hundreds of metres below the city of London, 13-year-old Montgomery Vane tries to forget about his horrible new school on the Surface and master the powers he used to defeat his evil Aunt Payton. But figuring out how to control his magic is a lot harder than he hoped.

And there's no time to lose! A terrifying new threat is surging through the Underworld. If Montgomery is going to help save his friends from the fearsome soldiers of Atlantis, he needs to learn fast - even if it means forging the most unlikely of alliances.

A Solid MG Stand Alone Book 2!

First, I love this series seem to trend stand alone books expanding on a unique and wholesome world beneath ours.
Again, a superb •stand alone• sequel! I'm so terribly sick of cliffhanger books/"trilogies". So I love-love-love this.
A new adventure introducing new Underworld characters and problems unfold and add to the world building and Montgomery's character development. We learn and understand more about the magic and the lifestyle of the Underworld.
Gentle levity were fun, amusing, and highly entertaining.
I was thrilled when I found it was finally converted to an audiobook and enjoyed listening to it.
A definite Must Read for MG and MG-minded readers/listeners who want a tight, wonderful, and well written/delivered tale!
