Well worth a listen!

Quite an experience Charles has recorded. I went straight to book 2 on the recommendation of Former Canadian defence minister Paul Hellyer.
It’s an interesting insight into the mental and physical struggles of being in his situation.
The book is narrated by a much older Charles and at times he doesn’t respect the punctuation of the sentences. But it’s a tiny thing really, he has a very listenable voice and the content is so compelling that dominates your mind anyway.
A great listen, a great thought provoking tale and fully leads me to go on to part 3.

Great story

I enjoyed the story very much.It reminded me when I was stationed at 29 Palms. I also love the desert.

Interesting eneough

The book was obviously self-published, wordy, and the author appears to be slightly narcissistic seeing as all of his accomplishments and “specialness” take center stage in the books. I am hoping the wife/editor is the one who souped up the books and his valor,
and not the author himself. Otherwise, the story loses some of its validity.
On the other hand, some of the alien encounters are insightful and very interesting. If this is in fact a true story, it should be published again as a polished memoir. I feel it would then be taken more seriously.

A copy of book 1

This book was, in the most part, a copy of the first book. At times there was an over taping running at the same time. Words ran together.
The story is outstanding and the writing is fair, but then again it’s an autobiographical piece. I enjoyed book 1. Let’s see if book 3 is any better.
