Loved it

Charlie is so calm and soothing. If nothing else, I’ve learned how to calm myself in scary situations! Excellent!!

I really really want to hear this story but . . .

. . . it is a struggle. The writing is not professional and the narration is not professional. I give a lot of leeway to people who write their own stories. And, it is expensive to hire a professional narrator, so I am very appreciative of a person who will narrate their own book in order to get their story out. I have not hesitated to return audio books before because I didn't like the writing or the narration. This book, however, has been a real struggle for me.

The information I am interested in is interspersed within writing that really needed a professional writer's editing. The narration is a reading of the book, without the pauses and inflections a professional narrator would use. I love the convenience of audio books, but will instead switch to the kindle version of these 5 books. I won't return this audio book, the first in the series, but will return the second book which I've already purchased but haven't listened to. I don't think I will finish listening to this first book, but will switch to the kindle version instead.

I very much appreciate the author sharing his experiences and thoughts, the novel format makes it hard to tell what is true, but from reading book blurbs and reviews, it appears that the third book will revisit these stories but in a non-fiction form.

Autobiographies are valuable, and fallible, and this UFO topic is of interest to me. I appreciate very much the author's work. This has been a dilemma for me - while I want to learn what the author has to say - the audio version has been hard to enjoy - due to the combination of both the writing style and narration style - and I find myself going to other books to avoid going back to this audio book. I will buy the kindle books instead.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book; Charlie’s experience seems genuine and his demeanor of remaining skeptical makes you believe he is telling the truth

Interesting story

As many reviewers have stated the editing and recording need work. But I think you need to look past that. This was clearly an ‘at home’ labor of love project. This is one man retelling the story of his rather incredible life.

No matter what you believe he believes this happened. That’s very compelling. This is a man whose faith has played a big part of who he is. He’s humble about himself, towards himself. But that he mentions that others speak to his intelligence is just him relating and recounting what happened. Not him saying look how smart I am.

If half of this story is true,, then it’s just amazing. Worth the listen if you can be patient with some less than stellar editing.

Charles Halls story is very interesting

I believe Charlie to be telling the Truth, with the only confusing thing to me about his story is the tall whites looking similar to Humans considering the complex evolutionary path of humans it seems very unlikely they’d look like us with arms and legs, hair and so on. Charlie is a good story teller and a likable character. Even if all of this was not true, his story is still very interesting. And his character is very likable.

Thank You Airman Hall

I just was very thrilled with this series To Learn how extremely different we are from our Cosmic Neighbors but yet how VERY MUCH THE SAME I lived out Close to Nellis, for 5 years so I could picture the Terrain,Mt Ranges as well as the environment Airman Hall speaks of.You can revisit these books unlike others they are facinating like the DESERT Stars @ Night

I really enjoyed this book however I hope it's not a true book because it is chilling

I really enjoyed this book however I hope it's not a true book. Most of these books are counterintelligence chaff so that if the UFO landed in your front yard and the alien has a galactic ID you would recognize that it was an alien however, I find this book to be somewhat chilling because it has the ring of truth. The question is if the aliens enjoy hundred environment is it possible that they are heating up our environment or would no one have the technology to do that? In addition if these people really live 700 years they think about like pets how much respect can they have for us and our short human lives? They seem to be tricksters. I wonder if this is where the legends of elves come from? This book gives me more questions than answers. What are these people's moral code? Does it respect the fact that we feel that we are sentient species? Or do they worry more about our planet and whether it survives without us? So many questions!!!

WOW! I listened non-stop!

Okay, so Charles is not a writer and could use an editor. And, Charles is not an actor or professional reader. That being said, I actually liked the rawness of this book and I appreciate the story being told in the man's own voice and not over dramatized by a pro.

As you can see from my ratings the reduction of stars for story and performance in no way reduced the over all book. I can't wait to finish this review to move on to the next book in the series.

This is a true story of a man who worked "with" real live aliens. No joke. The way he wrote the book makes it easy to understand the progression and relationships with the military brass, enlisted and the aliens. I have been lucky in my life to have met many people who have taken part in reverse engineering, been to area 51, and someone who was peripheral to the alien autopsy. I am overjoyed at this new information on aliens and UFOs. We, all of us, need to know the truth. I am hoping, with all this information coming out, our government will be forthright. Movie Cast

I can already see Tilda Swinton cast as the tall white "Teacher if this becomes a movie.
