Publisher's Summary

With Leo's commitment to Arnacript finalized, the champ announces his retirement to the world and prepares to work full-time on Ohlavar Quest. The challenges in the game world become steeper as Leo sets his eyes on the first of many artifacts, and he joins a dungeon exploration group in an effort to acquire the piece. But forces in the real world don't want the champ to retire from Astafar Unlimited, and they will do whatever it takes to get him back. Even if it means killing his parents. Lion's Quest: Dual Wield is the second novel in New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Michael-Scott Earle's Lion's Quest epic fantasy saga.

I enjoyed the first book.. but

This second book was ok story wise.. but to be honest if you cut out the graphic description of every women he meets..everytime he meets them.. and how bad he wants to bang them all but he is a "good" guy.. the book is only like 2 hours long. It got so old so fast that with 5 hours left in the book i had to stop listening for awhile.

Very enjoyable LitRPG

This series is really amazing. Good action sequences, intrigue and mayhem! The narrator does a great job of using different voices and keeping the story engaging.

love the books.

i am a fan of this storyline and concept. it is a bit far fetched and there are some errors in the storyline. I am hoping the third book is better than the first as this second book is my favorite of the first two so far. the first book took to long to get into.

Definitely recommend

This is a fun fast pass adventure as one of many virtual reality game platforms. It is nice to see that they do not spend in exorbitant amount of time reviewing stats. Informing the reader of characteristics of players and their gear from time to time is great and gives the reader a better understanding of game play. I have read many books that seem to waste time by constantly going over and over the same stats of players and items. The storyline continues to grow and the characters are very enjoyable.

Slow

While I'm liking the story, it seems to be moving extremely slow. He's supposed to collect 15 relics, and by the end of book 2 he has only 1 of them, and mysteries teased in the first book have made no progress.

Again, I like the story, but the super slow progression is a bit frustrating.
