Another amazing tale from Jacqueline Carey!

Perhaps I'm biased as Kushiel's Legacy is my favorite book series, but it's a more interesting read than the LotR tomes if you're into that sort of thing.

I love this series.

This book is always a pleasure to revisit. It's a solid build into the third.

Will always love this series, author, and Simon Vance. I've read and listened to this whole series more than any other series.

great story!

This is a well written, engaging, and emotionally moving love story, with bittersweet and honey lines.

Another chapter to Imriel

I have read all the books preceding to this one. Carey is a detailed author so if at this point you haven't found that out or this is your first - beware. The story does not reveal itself in an hour and end in the next.
Carey weaves intricate lines of lineage, history, and associations to create another masterpiece.
The sensuality, the adventure, and dedication was wonderful. I felt like the listener literally grew up a little more with each of Imriel's years and experiences. I did also enjoy Simon Vance - just wait till Kushiel's Mercy to see his talent bloom even more.

Nice with the series

I enjoyed the continuation of this series but I do wish that the original characters played a stronger part. I wouldn't actually consider it a part of the series, rather a continuation of the fictional world of the first 3 books. But, a great listen none the less.

Now we are back in right direction

This story is much improved from the last book. Emeril has come into his own and had a lively quest. Great love dilemmas and twists on the story. I look forward to the next one.

Is the book not showing up on audible app for you?

Loved the book. blah blah blah
ok. so I was finished reading book 4, and on to this(book 5)
and it wouldn't show the buy option on my audible app. I could buy all the other books in series, see reviews showing others have gotten this book.
It was devastating
but I figured a way. if you go to kindle or Amazon marketplace and look up this book, just pick the audible option. Thats what I did. If you're having trouble buying this, I hope this helps uou

great book and saga

narrator seem a little too old for Emery. But his other characters where quite good.

Yet another I could put down by Jacqueline Carey

The whole Kushiel series is worth the read and then some. This book in the series is one of my favorites.
