Anthology

It's somewhat difficult to rate the story behind a recording when there are multiple pieces. That said, the narration was very well done. There were times that I was nit certain that the same person was the one performing.

Audible should have a better description of book

Anthologies are hard to rate because often these are short stories taken out larger story arcs and done so as to not interfere with the larger arc if the reader doesn't read the anthology. But it is also a great opportunity to discover a new author. My difficulty with this one was not knowing any part of the back story and often not knowing the author or being able to figure out who they were without doing a web search for a fan site. I don't blame the authors but think the editors and Audible could have done a better job

Awesome all the way through.

This was a completely fun book with plenty of augors I haven't read yet that are going on my must read list. Which keeps getting longer and longer. I enjoyed this one
and the many facets that all the authors presented. Everything from romance to fantasy to scifi, to the vampire stuff is here in all its glory. I really liked this one. I found it sheer accident, in looking for books by my newest fan favorite Faith Hunter and stumbled across this one and was not disappointed at all. I'd say if you want a taste of these different genres, these are the best authors representing their genres and their art, al in one place that I can think of. Great read, awesome listen, Justine OKefe did an excellent job on narration and accent. She switched so flawlessly, I had to hakesue she was the only one reading this book it was so good. I hope everyone likes this one. I'l be looking for more.

Stong women are sexy!

I've enjoyed when a books characters are balanced but it's also good to see when the primary character is a woman and when the woman realizes just how strong she really is. This book as full of them and I look forward to gaining some new series to look into.

Kicking it Really Kicks Butt!

Would you consider the audio edition of Kicking It to be better than the print version?

I've not read the print version but I really enjoyed the audio edition.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jane Yellowrock is always my favorite even though her part in Faith Hunter's story was minor. She is the complete heroine.

What does Justine O. Keef bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Excellent narration in all the stories.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of the stories were very well done with interesting plots.

Any additional comments?

I hope there are more such collaborations in the future by these editors!

Good short stories

Any additional comments?

Good book with different stories from several authors. Well developed characters and storylines. The narrator did a good job as well. I will buy additional books by these authors.

Need TOC

Short stories always vary in quality, but these range from pretty good to excellent. It’s frustrating not to know where the stories start, though. Would it kill them to include a table of contents?
