Publisher's summary

What if Hitler and Churchill were actually playing out an age-old battle between two rivals that had been incarnating together over and over across time? Exploring roles from evil to good to lazy and decadent in an attempt to understand the human experience, one of these beings seems destined to destroy the other, no matter what the circumstances, no matter how much the world changes over time.

Short and sweet

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, very interesting concept. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review, and I honestly would recommend it.

Worth a listen

This story is actually more than I expected, has an interesting premise. The narrator fleshes out the characters, creating a vocal cinema for the story. Enjoyable.

Wonderful!

This story is about reincarnation. I felt the story too short and if it had been longer it would've made this story incredible. It's about a boy that is called Uruk. Uruk has begged Ari to teach him to be a holy man. Ari refuses to do this. The story starts in 1706 BC. and these individuals continue throughout the story until the year 2091 AD. It really would make for a wonderful lengthier book.

The narrator Steven Jay Cohen did a fantastic job with his narration of this short story. At first I thought it was about a female but as I listened that's when I learned he was Uruk in the story. The boy was the one telling the story and that's why Steven used the accent so much. Steven also did an exceptional job with the other characters accents.

This was my first story I listened to that was written by author JC Andrijeski and the first story I've heard by narrator Steven Cohen as well. The author has written a great story even if it was a short story. It shows imagination and the author and the narrator took me to that time. I felt I was there and going through reincarnation as the story took me there. A wonderful take on Hitler and Churchill as the author tells a tale about an age old feud between two rivals. A short story but definitely worth the listen and I think you'll find this story as enjoyable as I did. I highly recommend this story.

A short yet very deep listen.

The story was thought provoking and I loved it. The narrator was outstanding...an understated and powerful performance.
