Publisher's summary

The jaw-dropping conclusion to the best-selling Fire and Ice Trilogy!

I thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business.

I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day.

When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made.

Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root?

I don't want my friends to die on my behalf. I could never live with myself. But if I venture into the Underworld, it'll be the most perilous journey of my life.

This time, it isn't just my life hanging in the balance, it is my eternity.

A Let Down

Even after being disappointed with book 2, I still had to give book 3 a try to find out the end. Sadly I was even more disappointed with this one. I was looking forward to a big wrap up. What I found was a story that dragged on with no real purpose. Chapter after chapter of weird circus towns and desserts with weird events taking place but nothing truly exciting. So after enduring slow uneventful story lines it ends with no real climax. Just "My boring trek through hell is complete and now I'll just lay low with my hot vampire lover who truly is in love with me even though vampires shouldn't be capable of love. But I'm not even going to look into that because I'm laying low." It ends like the author just lost interest and said "I'm bored so end it here". Just was expecting better.

Last book trilogy of Fire & Ice

I love the plot. It seems that the author should spend less time on the in-depth description of their sex together & the repeating of explanations of who’s who & what they do. There are several instances of describing other characters every few pages. Once or twice is fine, but not every time someone other than the main characters at needs describing as if the reader doesn’t get who they are after the 2nd explanation of what the minor character is & their role to main people. It makes me feel as if the author is trying for extra words to fill in space. We don’t need to be told over & over & over the role of those characters. I like the plot, will there be another? Does her father approach her? Does she return to the underworld to seek him out or does he come to her? Did Lucifer have feelings for her mother? So many ways to take these. Does Vlad make an alliance with Lucifer or other powerful fallen angels?
See what I mean. It doesn’t have to end here with all the questions unanswered.
Can Darius get her pregnant? Too many unanswered dangling parts. Please consider more books or a large one that stand alone after reading the 1st 3. Thank u 4 ur time. Keep them coming.

Hopefully this is not the last book

Book is great. The ending feels like a cop out. you never get to meet someone who should be a main character.

I enjoyed this book, but…

I enjoyed this book (and the previous two of the trilogy), my only problem is it felt a little anticlimactic. But if you’ve made it this far, you should definitely see it through to the end.
I love that there are still random surprises for us to learn about Reagan (like an unusual childhood pet), and the growth and development of each of the characters.

Epic!! Older reviews need to be updated!!!

I love how the author had an epic conclusion for the 1st 3 books but also left it open as we know because the story doesn't end here. There are actually 11 books in the series. There are the next 3 books in Penny's story, then 3 books in warrior chronicles, then we swing back to Regeans story in the end for 3 more books. So anyone who wrote negative reviews about the story leaving questions obviously didn't do their homework and realize there's much more to this series!! Even if you did end it here she does wrap it up wonderful with a happy ever after. This is one of those series that you keep rereading because it is just so good. There is none of that unnecessary frustration or dragging out plot lines. Just pure entertainment!!

Great

Ok I love this series and it got better when she finally mated with Darius the only negative is how the series ended she doesn’t even meet her dad there was no huge battle yes she learned to combine her power and killed some hard level demons but seriously that is not an epic ending for a good series it really needs more books the ending was lacking

Disappointing Ending

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, I was so irritated about the lack of ending, that it still makes me mad

Would you ever listen to anything by K.F. Breene again?

No
