what's up with changing readers?

I loved the first book, it was consistent and occasionally had voice actors and other times was just the reader. this book has entire chapter with different narrorators. that really threw me off. story turned out to be good but I missed alot from being distracted by the changing voices.

I dislike abridged

The story is great but I loathe abridged stories because you miss so much of the story. The book fits nicely in the saga and I would recommend it after reading it's prequels

THE SAGA CONTINUES.

Heavy weighs the crown... The story continues with Paul Mujahdib now the emperor of the known universe. Worshipped as a God, he struggles with ending a jihad being prosecuted in his name.

All the while the nets of the various forces gather ever closer with a host of powerful conspirators seeking his destruction... But it is not easy to entrap a being who can see future events before they happen.

As good as the first one.

The world imagined in the first one continues to evolve while the characters remain rooted. The story is a bit less grandiose than the first one, impressive nonetheless. The narration took a small hit. I was expecting more of a combined effort by the narrators instead it was disjointed. However the narration itself was really good.

Compare to ___? Still a good story.

Just a quick note, on a device not intended for writing. If you would like more context, and/or a deeper plunge into the Dune Universe... It starts here. Dune, the original novel, is a classic. In Science Fiction it could easily be stacked up against any of the greats. I don't believe you lose anything in reading this, and I am of to the 3rd book ( :
