wonderful way to end an epic adventure
I was worried going into the 4th book because the 3rd book ended so well, I questioned why bother with another. The prologue hooked me quickly and the ending had me tearing. great adventure, awesome ride. I'm just sad there's not more.

Absolutely fantastic
Has every element you look for in fantasy, Beautifully connected together and completely wholesome by the end. Only thing I found wishing for throughout the entire series was the narrator to have some more diverse voices for all the many characters, Not story breaking in any way, just my own wish. Can't believe this is Shae Ford's first series. Led to many tired mornings because I couldn't stop listening but I can't complain at all, well worth the read!

An entertaining series of a different sort.
Yep, young kid saves the world and gets the girl, sort of. But what makes this series so good is the sub-characters and backstories. A huge plus is the length of the books....worth the money. You could really tell at the end the writer wanted to wrap it up and he finished up all the endings of all the characters.

Twists and turns
I loved this story. I loved that even though I could guess the connections to form between the characters, how they came to be was unexpected. Definitely a great read!
