Publisher's Summary

With the opening of Crystalfire Keep, Max, Kayla, and the rest of the crew find themselves in a race against time to gather a force strong enough to beat the timed raid dungeon in time to secure the big cash prize.

With rival guilds causing trouble within the game and a dangerous wager in the real world looming, what begins as a difficult trial turns into a near-impossible mission with consequences far outreaching a simple contest.

The futures of not only Max and Kayla, but that of their friends, family, and possibly the whole game are at stake. Worse, their only hope to save the day may just lie with the mysterious return of a lost legend.

3rd book in amazing series

Our unlikely heroes are about to enter crystal fire keep. They have some new and unlikely allies. Will they keep with the ragtag crew and style that’s worked or will they join one of the top and most prestigious raid guilds? The game is throwing some serious twists their way. The keep is a timed event with the times secret until the end. The lovers are at odds with the filter. The finish must be in the top 100 or funding will be cut. There is a surprise for all. Great story! Wonderful narration. Fans of D&D rejoice. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

So good!

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Joe Hempel, it is no surprise, continues to bring books to life like few others. The story picks up where book 2 left off. I have really enjoyed how the story is blended between Max's real life and the gamer side. I liked that this one was longer (at 9 and a half hours). A great finish to the trilogy!

I don't know why, but I am a sucker for LitRPG

This book was fun. More realistic than many of these types of stories. And that made it suck me in even that much more. There's no people being assimilated or anything like that. But there is a good plot, excellent characters, and an interesting plot dynamic that moves the story along.

I really enjoyed the ending. It was so refreshing to feel a story come to a close and not be left open ended for another sequel.

Joe Hempel did a great job reading. His tempo was perfect. And he did all the characters justice.

I think my favorite part of the book is having a main character who is disabled. And not only that but having him be strong and a leader. This is such a detour from the typical use of disabilities in story's today. Thanks for giving us that. And the moment at the end when he is nervous about how he will be perceived by a woman when she realizes hes disabled. it was honest and I loved it.

Great book.

I received this audio-book in exchange for my honest review.

A fun fantasy game adventure

Crystalfire Keep is a fun fantasy game adventure with interesting characters and fast paced action. The narrator of the series is excellent! This is the third part of the Elements of Wrath series, and while you could enjoy independently, it's much better when you've read or listened to the previous books too. I particularity appreciate that this series, while an entertaining choice for adults, avoids the excessive language and sexual content you find in many of the other books in the LitRPG genre and could even be considered family friendly. This book concludes the story arc, but I hope the authors will continue to write more books about these this game and characters lives.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Oh. My. Word. I do not have the words to describe how amazing this book is. I was 100% completely entertained and satisfied - such an amazing, enjoyable read!

Great storyline - was engaged right from the start. I did not want it to end at all. So, so good!

The narration was perfect! The perfect voice to have brought these characters to life!

Great ending to a fantastic series.

I'm quite sad to see this series come to an end, but at least Max and the gang go out with a bang. It's all been leading up to this. Can Max and his band of misfits work together to take on the epic raid of Crystalfire Keep and win the big prize? As with the previous books, time is spent with our main character in both the real world as well as in the game world. The Elements of Wraith Online series features a great cast and both the in game and real world storylines are engaging and completely satisfying. This is my second favorite series by the prolific J.A. Cipriano, with my favorite being his Soul Stone series...be sure to check that one out as well!

Joe Hempel, who narrated the two previous books in the series, once again does an excellent job.

Outstanding read/listen

My fourth read/listen from authors J.B. Garner & J.A. Cipriano and the third, and best so far, in the Elements of Wrath Online Series. Very enjoyable read, especially for fans of FRP and so much more as the real life story takes the forefront, as good as the first 2 books were this is even better. So good I can't wait to delve into the next book in the series. I especially enjoyed the narrative talents of Joe Hempel.

Awesome Conclusion to the Trilogy!

Max, Kayla, and the other Firsters are prepping for the opening of Crystalfire Keep, a new quest release with a real world cash prize. Max desperately needs the money to support his disabled sister, and he makes a wager for an extra incentive that will benefit more than just his own family. While he's beginning to open up to Kayla, Max still needs to battle his own insecurities to unlock the benefits of the ring of promise. He gathers a unlikely group of players to tackle the Keep.

This was an awesome conclusion to the trilogy! This is the final book in the series and you do need to read the first two to really get this one. It doesn't reintroduce the characters or recap events, it picks up right where the last one left off. I'm usually content to live in the era that we do, but this book made me so jealous! Ugh, I wish I could play this game and visit this world. I love that the characters don't treat it like a game, they talk and react with NPCs as if they really were living in the world of Elemetalis. That immersed me in the storyline along with them. I really hope the authors revisit the world and maybe give us a side novel with these characters!

The narration was really well done, Joe Hempel has the perfect voice for Max and performs voices for the characters. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review. It's a clean read I'd recommend for LitRPG fans.
