Dystopian YA Top Gun

It loses points with me for blatantly lifting the plot from a Tom Cruise movie. Granted, it was a good one, and this author pulls it off well enough that I cried for "Goose", but I don't know that I can forgive the whole Top Gun thing. Great execution of the stolen plot, great world building, awesome Starbuck-swap. But no top less, sweaty volleyball game.

Decent teen heartthrob..... If that's what your in

The reader really needs to use her "t's". Somewhat distracting.....

ie. Bri'in in stead of Britain. Or impor'ant.... Many more....

Too much teenage angst and not enough action. Nice enough but I'm just the wrong audience for this kind of book.

geared more for YA but good story.

over all it was a good story. a bit under-technical for real aviation enthusiast. author has limited aerodynamic/aviation knowledge even though tried using aviation "buzzwords" .

Amazing! Treat yourself to this.

This is a killer, fast pace story of love and war and death and family. Cori takes you in the ride in the air you've been waiting for.

Not bad, but knowledge of physics is lacking

I enjoyed the story and characters, however the lack of knowledge about how planes actually fly was distracting when the author mentioned them touching wings at high speed as being playful it's disturbing when you know in real life that would be a major disaster probably ending in death.

Have you listened to any of Caitlin Davies’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Caitlin's performance was great, it was the story that was lacking. I liked the idea, but it was too heart throby (yes, i know that's not a word).

Was Breaking Sky worth the listening time?

i was bored, so yes, but no.

Absolutely loved it

The story was extremely well told and was written with vivid detail. I personally didnt care for the narrator but she did a good job overall. I would highly recommend this book to any fan of high-flying adrenaline or romance.

Enjoyable Story

started slow but caught my attention as it went on. It ended with me wanting more.

Needs more to the story. It's predictable to a fault. Author opens the book up for a sequel.
