Missing something

I liked this story but didn't love it. it wasn't billed properly in the summary and didn't have the usual Jane Yellowrock twist or reveal. It just felt like there should have been... more.

Angie Baby is a big girl!

I loved the reality of a 7 year old trying to grow up and a non parent providing counsel. Been in that spot. Great story well constructed. Fantastic short listen!

Great story, Angie baby is going to be a handful.

Can't wait til puberty hits. Molly and Evan will have a great time. Maybe they'll send her to Jane. Ready for the next one. She could have helped Jane in Shadow Rites.

Juvenile problems

What made the experience of listening to Bound No More the most enjoyable?

Novellas about raising of two young supernatural beings can never be safe all the time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bound No More?

When Jane had to sit down and explain to Angie Baby that she was not to take off the binding that her parents had put on her and why it is important to wait until she is 18.2

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

She got the anguish c in Molly's voice right, when Molly was apologizing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

When Eli was holding Jane's arm and Jane was hoping Eli trying to keep him from bleeding out. Then Soul brings Eli a renewable scarf that heals his arm. Jane is a little miffed when Soul tells her to fix herself. Made me laugh.

Any additional comments?

Shows how Jane is maturing and with her Cherokee background and her Christian background how she balances the Two ideology.

Great story!

This novella was a little different than I expected. Angie Baby was always a challenge for me. How was she going to develop, how would Hunter 'grow' her into her magic & still keep her an interesting part of Jane's life, would she & her family just slide out of the storyline? Though young, Angie has already been through a lot & this story is no different. She is put into the difficult position where she has to reason out a very adult decision & it gave me hope that she was able to make the best choice. Putting her in as a major player in the story allowed her to be seen as a possible recurring character. In my imagination, I could see Angie become a future member of YS (she's gonna give the Younger brothers headaches), an amazing kick-butt female to be reckoned with, & a major force in keeping Leo's clan in line. Go Yellowrock! Go Angie Baby!

Intresting

Very interesting short story that fills the gap of what knocked Jane off her bike, the flashing rainbow lights, and how that plays a part in the next in the series. I wish I listened to this one before Broken Soul. Very good overall and great narration. Happy listening.

Wow

In this short story, some of Angies encredible powers come to light when she and Molly visit Jane in preparation for the witches and vamp meeting. Some hard lessons are being learned by all.

Angie Baby is One Scary Child

There were several great notes in this story. We learn more about the world, Alex is growing up and finally getting the recognition I felt he has always deserved, Molly and Angie Baby (two of my favorite characters) are back, we get to see Angie be seriously scary, but also grow up quite a bit in a very short time. Hvam is, as always, wonderful to listen to in this series. A great listen before book 10.

dip your feet

this was a great story and if you've never read a yellow rock story prior to this or you want to test the water this is a great one to dip your feet into. it has all the interest and magical / shape shifting that is all the other longer stories. I have been a way from Jane for a few years and now I can't wait to revisit all the books in order

First Class as one expects from Faith Hunter

I love the Jane Yellowrock series. Faith Hunter is an excellent writer and I am addicted, I have read all of the Jane Yellowrock books that have been published.
Faith Hunter has built a wide ranging world inhabited by strong well developed characters. This particular story deals with Angie-baby learning a moral lesson and was well worth the read.

Love me some Godmother action!

Always keen to learn more about Jane's heart family, including her connection with the Younger Brothers.
