Jack is Back!

What did you love best about Awakening: A New World, Book 5?

Jack''s growing ability to sense the NIght Runners

Have you listened to any of Mark Gagliardi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

In this new reality, there is no such thing as safe

Any additional comments?

Loved the continuation of the series, with Jack doing everything he can to help the men and women that also helped him. This is his new family and taking risk are a part of him. For his family, Lynn and his team, Jack will always make the choice to help. He can't walk away because he knows to do so would allow the Night Runners to win becase there is no where he can go, no safe zone as the Night Runners continue to hunt and feed on humans and all living creatures decimating everything in their path. It is literally an US or THEM situation.

Great Addition!

I really like the story. At first, I felt the narrator was over doing it a bit but his performance has grown on me.

Each new book seems to get better

This story seems to get better with each new book as does the reader. This is a whole new concept in "zombie" stories but it is even more believable. The author has defiantly done his research as it comes out in the story and makes it seem more real. I was not expressed with the reading of the first two books but maybe the reader has improved or the story just hides the so so job that was apparent in the earlier books. Can't wait for this series to continue.

Can't wait for the next one

On the money slowly adding new additions to the storyline without over saturating the story.
Truly an original storyline amazing

Not enough stars!

I can not review enough about how well written and expressive this series is. It is so easy to get lost in the New World!

My Book 3 Review was meant for this Book.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Hearing the Night Runners side of the story, It takes away from the Survival Horror element.

Would you recommend Awakening: A New World, Book 5 to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, overall good story and character building just some things make you shake your head

What three words best describe Mark Gagliardi’s performance?

To Cartoonish

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes, if the director took away the Night runners Mental ability and turn them back to the scary mindless predators they started out as

Any additional comments?

The Author needs to know when he has a good story and work this that but adding mental abilities to the Night Runners (talking and sending pictures with their mind) stocking up on Supermarket supplies, and two night runners all of a sudden becoming more intelligent and aware and controlling other night runners is plain silly. and is taking away from the good story he built. Night Runners coming with no thought no reason but just to devour you is way scarier.

Lots of adventure, the Night Runner danger increases as they seem to get smarter...lots of action and humor and great stirytelling.
