NEEDED A MALE NARRATOR!

If you could sum up Auxiliary Hero Corps 1 in three words, what would they be?

Interesting, potential, short

Who was your favorite character and why?

I will say Val....but I haven't really bonded with any of these characters yet...

What three words best describe Eliza Wethers’s performance?

She was ok...but this is not a book for a female narrator...

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did, its short...

Any additional comments?

I like a superhero story...and this one is decent...but they have the wrong narrator! Why would you pick a female narrator, for a main character that is male! I do think this little series has potential...and I am interested in book 2!!

Urban Fantasy with Potential

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was a short light listen and didn't waste any real time.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would of made the story longer with more substance and a more well developed plot.

What three words best describe Eliza Wethers’s performance?

A satisfactory performance

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

It would be better as a first episode of a tv series than a movie.

Any additional comments?

This novella had potential but was too short and underdeveloped. What there was of it was well written and could be a decent teaser for a more developed series. It seems that even vigilante heroes have bureaucratic rules that they are expected to abide by. This is very discouraging to Val as these rules cause a villain to win. So will Val become a rouge hero or will she evolve from auxiliary status to the full fledged hero?

Hopefully the next book of the series will evolve as well as this series does have potential even though the first book is only mediocre.

I wanted to like this title, but couldn't get into

Would you try another book from Charles Eugene Anderson and/or Eliza Wethers?

Sure. This particular title wasn't for me, I had a hard time getting into it despite its short length. But I would give this this author another shot.

If you’ve listened to books by Charles Eugene Anderson before, how does this one compare?

NA

Which character – as performed by Eliza Wethers – was your favorite?

I really didn't have a favorite

Any additional comments?

I really wanted to like this title, but I couldn't get into it. I thought that certain parts were a bit cheesy for me and throw me off a bit. Narration was good, and the story has potential.I was given a copy of this total for an unbiased review.
