Publisher's summary

The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter.

Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble.

They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct. But political squabbles have a bad habit of dying hard, and the Brazilian probes are still trying to take out the competition. And the Bobs have picked a fight with an older, more powerful species with a large appetite and a short temper.

Still stinging from getting their collective butts kicked in their first encounter with the Others, the Bobs now face the prospect of a decisive final battle to defend Earth and its colonies. But the Bobs are less disciplined than a herd of cats, and some of the younger copies are more concerned with their own local problems than defeating the Others.

Yet salvation may come from an unlikely source. A couple of eighth-generation Bobs have found something out in deep space. All it will take to save the Earth and perhaps all of humanity is for them to get it to Sol - unless the Others arrive first.

All These Worlds is the third installment in the blockbuster Audible Original Bobiverse series - which has sold more than one million copies.

Featured Article: The Most Stellar Sci-Fi Authors of All Time

Science fiction is a genre as diverse as you can imagine. There are stories that take place in deep space, often depicting teams exploring or running away from something; stories that focus on life at the most cellular level, such as a pandemic tale; and stories that take place in times that feel similar to our own. Depicting themes of existentialism, philosophy, hubris, and personal and historical trauma, sci-fi has a cadre of topics and moods.

Excellent

Excellent and imaginative. a really interesting view of what the human mind is capable of if given time. And how politics, Religious views and fanaticism can easily destroy a civilization.

Why is this not a TV series!

This book is an excellent unique story. Each Bob has his own story. Lots of action, some romance and a very in depth plot.

Couldn't put it down

Great ending to the Bob series. I was completely entertained from start to finish. Nothing too heavy or too gory, but definitely not adolescent either. I appreciate the balance in this series.

A pretty little conclusion to a wholly fun series.

Any additional comments?

A solid ending to a solid series.

Seriously, I respect Taylor for wrapping everything up in a nice bow and giving us wonderful(?) readers and listeners closure.

This book picks up right where the last left off, so if you binge these, you will be a little better off than me. It was a good journey of discovery and exploration, which I absolutely loved. The books were a bit too shallow for me to ever give a full five stars by my criteria. But don't let that scare you away. I had many a time where I just lost track of time because of the books.

The long and short of it is that if you want a series where you will laugh and cheer with a very relatable character as he goes about exploring and solving problems without a hint of deus ex machina, then pick up the Bobiverse series. Now then, can we get some imitators over here? I want more.

Bittersweet finish

When the worst part of a book is the fact that's it's the last in a series, and you long for the story to continue after the last word is read, you've got a classic in the making. Finishing All These Worlds was almost as painful as finishing The Deathly Hallows. Hopefully this story will earn a place on the big screen for a second chance at life, like the HP series did.

Great ending!

I have never had a story so large seem to wrap up so well. so often writers seem to get tired of their own story before it ends. The fact that the author managed to tell this story so completely with so many different threads tied up so neatly has left me flabbergasted. I will definitely be on the lookout for more from this author.

Not the best of the trilogy

This got a bit too hung up on the pathos and sympathy with deaths and love etc. Relationships slowed the story but overall it completed the journey. It was worth listening to the two earlier books but I am glad it ended here. The performance was great and kept my interest.
