Publisher's summary

A 1950s hospital. Temporary amnesia. A naked man running through Central Park yelling something about alien space tentacles. Tinfoil, duct tape, and bananas. These are the ingredients for a spectacular romp through a world you never thought possible as aliens reach out and make contact with Earth.

Great Syfi Comedy

I loved this book. I read the reviews and agree this is a comedy and Syfi combined. I laugh so hard at the jail escape.

A tongue in cheek tail with a surprise.

Quite wacky and irreverent, yet filled with more then a few heartwarming moments. I truly wish I could meet these aliens.

Great short story about first contact

Great short story about first contact written by Peter Cowdron. Mr. Cowdron paints a brilliant, fun, and witty picture of a guy who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and is a rollercoaster ride from there on out. Narrated by MacLeod Andrews who does the story justice and really brings it to life.

This is a sci-fi hoot! Regular guy, aliens, FBI

By: Peter Cawdron
Narrated by: MacLeod Andrews
Alien Space Tentacle Porn by Peter Cawdron is another book that proves I am on the right track when I follow this great author! This book is a hoot! A regular guy, minding his own business, somehow gets caught up in some craziness. He sees a guy get shot in the head in front of him, the dead guy's sister enlists his help to drag his body around, doing strange things to it, leaves him with a gun after she shoots at the FBI, and on it goes.... later in the holding cell in jail, along with a drunk, the girl strips naked and has him splash soapy water on her so she can slip through the bars all the while the drunk is making comments! It is so funny. The FBI catch him and they think he is an alien, that is so funny too. It is a short book but it is so good. I really enjoyed this clever story.
The narrator was pure perfection! It is hard to do comedy but this is done so well that the narration enhances the humor! Loved it all! Wonderful job!

Really pretty good

I got this book for three reasons:
- I love the narrator
- It was super cheap (free e-book + 99-cent audio)
- The title made me go, "Okay, I have to see what this is about."

I was expecting a humorous sci-fi adventure, and it was that. But there was a surprising amount of philosophical musings on things like equality and the role of porn in society. These didn't derail the story too badly, but they did slow things down a bit, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4. Though I got the sense that this commentary was most of the reason the author wrote the book. The relationships between the characters were nice.

As a cheap, quick listen, it's definitely worth the read. After the book, there's a commentary by the author on porn, which looks at things from a humanistic/evolutionary perspective. Not sure that part really added anything to the fiction, and the book could have done without it.

Mostly disposable with a few good scenes

Most of this book was ok but entirely forgettable. The biggest exception was the great jail break scene. That was a lot of fun. Great narration though.

Although there's nothing as graphic as the title suggests, the sensationalist title isn't as misleading as it sounds. The author intended to makes several statements about the nature of adult movies.
