Love this series.

For some reason the book listed as is not the third in the series. Look for it . Great bit of fiction and has a decent blend of science.

excellent read

the story is riveting because the narrator brings a soothing story telling method and a mature voice delivery.

Excellent second installment in this series!

I really enjoyed this second installment in the Intrepid Saga. It's not quite the thrill ride the first book was, but it definitely kept moving and was entertaining in all the best ways. It had a bit less action and a bit more character development, as well as a bit more romance. I am a fan of romance, so I was very happy to see the relationship progress, but at the same time there were lots of exciting twists and turns and battles to keep my inner fighter happy. The book ended on a very satisfying note, and I am definitely ready to jump into the next book in this fabulous series. I haven't rated this one 5/5, but that's mostly in comparison to the first book in the series, which was totally awesome and is now in my Favorites list. If I could give partial stars, this would be a 4.5, as I did think it was excellent and will re-listen to it at some point.

What a ride!

What a ride! I like this book even more than the first one. We are getting to know the main character a lot better and the adventure just continues.

I’m also impressed by how well done and integrated the romance is in the story. Sometimes this is choppy in science fiction, but it’s extremely well done in this one.

The only problem? This book always leaves me craving a BLT!

Enjoyed the series so far

I found this series and have enjoyed it’s story so far.
This has several sets of book series in this saga.

Amazing series

Love the series and everything about it. The characters were well written and love the strong female leads. Narrator is amazing as always!

The adventure continues!

M. D. Cooper delivers again! The story picks up with even more intrigue and a new character. Can't wait for the next one.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A story. I have seen first shooter games with a better story. Like Doom or Duke Nukem. (Ps: "Monsters from -insert generic location- !! Bad! Ugly! Me shoot!" Is not a summary. It's the whole thing.)

What could M. D. Cooper have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Consistency. The bad guys win because the universe forgot some laws. Like when a nano probe, military grade, flies through an hologram, it should be able to figure out that something is wrong with the mass of the thing it is supposed to be.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance can do so much.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The fist book in the series was really good. You can skip this one. You won't miss much.

Any additional comments?

This book is forced. The bad guys have been given an "i win" button and keep mashing it. Like tracking the super stealth suit that nobody knows about as if if didn't exist. Almost like they knew! Hiding behind the door is better. Right? Super military probes and training says to ignore back of doors. Said suit was "removed" from the game. It was too powerful or something. The good guys left their brains on earth in a safe box. How to stop a ship in who's cockpit you are in from leaving? Jarhead and shiny buttons comes to mind. You know, the jarhead that learned how to fly those thing? The list goes on. The first book was really good. This one? Not so much.

Disappointed

I was looking forward to this book, but was highly disappointed. You can totally skip this book. It’s not surprising that not all the bad guys where caught in the first book. This was more of a romance book with very little action thrown in. Felt very little was unveiled as to who the bad guys are. I would recommend you getting the book at your local library and save your money. I liked the narration by Khristjne Hvam ; that was not the problem. I’m hoping the 3rd installment is a lot better.

What happened? From Sci-Fi to sappy romance???

I LOVED the first book, so grabbed the second as soon as it became available. And WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KICK-ASS HEROINE??? This was a freakin' ROMANCE book?! Why??
