Life Changing.

We should all, in our lives, aspire to have at least half the courage Oskar Schindler had amidst great evil. An incredible read that takes you on a journey in the darkest depths of humanity while highlighting the power of one person’s bravery and courage!

A compelling historical account!

A compelling historical account. the author does a superb job in conveying the story of Oscar Schindler and the cruelty of the SS . another record of what a people whose worldview had been poisoned by darwinism and lost of the image of God can do. Christians must read with caution, some gratuitous language is used in the narrative.

Now I want to watch the movie again. Excellent book that explains the horror of Nazi crimes

Such a fascinating story

I’ve seen the movie and that was so emotional. This book explains in great detail the actions of a pure hearted man despite his flaws. It’s a must read especially now when people only seem to think of themselves

really well done

I thought it was a very well written book this was the first time I listened to it I saw the movie years ago I'm half-jewish and always think about what it would be like back then all the poor innocent babies children women and men that had to deal with that. everybody should listen to this book should be mandatory about what's good there is in the world and bad.

Amazing

If you have not already seen the movie and are unfamiliar with the story you must read this book! The narration is exquisite and the story is heart rending.

Hystory can teach us to avoid the same mistakes. We simply need to learn from the past.

The story told was remarkable. I was enthralled with the in depth explanations that were not touched on in the movie. Excellent. I am so glad that I read this book and now listened to it.

Another book that's better than the movie

While the movie is clearly one of the better movies ever (12 Oscar nominations - winning 7), the book paints a much clearer picture of who Oskar Schindler was and what he did to deliver over a 1,000 Jews through the challenges presented to Jews in Poland during WWII.

This is one of the most moving books I've read.

Passion of writer and narrator

Great details and time line is clear. Easy to follow in spite of all the different names and locations. Should be required reading of every signal person in Europe and U.S.
