AUDIO MOVIE....WOW

Wow. Just Wow. This story was mind blowing and forward thinking. The production, music, sound design and cinematic feel of this was different than anything else I've ever listened to. I felt like I was listening to a movie. The author's subtle hints to the movie structure of this audio book was genius.  A game changer and well Done!  Cant wait for the next audio movie from this author.

Great story

the story line was very good; however, I didn't like the narration. I kept asking "who is we? "

What

This book is so all over the place. Where is Nicole or Carey? I couldn’t even listen to it with all of the music and extras going on. Too much for me. Thumbs down on the movie going on in my ears.

Ok read

So this is my first audible book. The readers were okay. The story line seemed to drag on but there was nothing juicy. Usually, there is more with JaQuavis’ books. I will wait to see how the second part reads but just know I will always support my favorite writers even on off days, lol.

Ok

Pros:
1. Nice story.
2. Short and to the point
3. The ending was really good. Wild & unexpected
4. I would definitely read (listen to) a part 2 if it were to come out

Cons:
1. Money was GREEN!!!!!! Lawd was he green! I understand there are folks with book smarts & street smarts but geez…he had all the book smarts and nothing else. And most kids of addicts have street smarts
2. Plays out like a screenplay. I didn’t really like that. It’s very descriptive so I didn’t need to hear them tell me about puddle sounds & chains clanking. I can picture it on my own.

Rushed

I started the book curious about how Money would grow into either a Boss or a Role Model and neither were true. It ended up being a run for your life from the crime lord and crooked cops tale with his jealous best friend killing him. I am all for cliff hangers and plot twists but this one left me wondering what I missed😏. It is like the author was writing to a deadline and rushed to the end without staying in a story line. Very disappointed.
