But they had to get themselves fed and off to school; their mother was in the hospital, and their father was far from home. I felt helpless and like a terrible husband and father. What happened to the author occurs to many entrepreneurs and business owners when they discover that their businesses have grown so large and become so successful that they have become trapped by their own success. Has this happened to you? A scalable business makes it possible to create passive income and grow the business by doing less and by doing so more thoughtfully. It takes effort on your part to truly evaluate each of the four keys of scale.

Supporting material no where to be found

Audible does not supply accompanying material for this book, yet Frank starts the book by stating such material is available on his website, where it's nowhere to be found. I could find no contact info to ask the author for it, and the link to his Twitter profile didn't work + he had a horrible stock photo of "his team" on his website (it made me cringe).

The extremely poor website presence of the author made lose all trust in his credibility as an online marketer.

The content overall? Solid, but without the written extra material, it's not easy to follow. The advice in the book is more centered towards conversion optimization than scaling a business. Advice on the latter is more rudimentary, and not really helpful to me.

Much better is Making Money is Killing Your Business by Chuck Blakeman – which even has its accompanying material available.

Zero Audio Editing. Sounds like a 1st read through

If you are starting a business for the first time, this book will offer some good insights.

If you know anything about business, this book will be a frustrating listen.

Most of the book is not focussed on the actual scaling process but rather offers a sorts of info about everything from setting up websites to hiring staff.

The narrator has a great voice but it sounds like a first read through - stumbling over words, starting and then restarting sentences, etc. For some this will be a deal breaker and make it impossible to listen to the entire book.
