Not my thing

I have read other books by this author and absolutely loved them but this one.. I hate books about drugs, the blurb to read made it sound like a different kinda book. This just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t even finish it. Also didn’t love the narrators for this. They didn’t do a bad reading I just could put their voice with the characters. So maybe that was more of a me issue.🤷🏻‍♀️

This Was More Like It

I was ambivalent on book one. In fact, if it hadn't been for that mother of all cliffhangers I might not have moved on to this one. But I'm glad I did. I enjoyed this portion of the story better. It felt more grounded and like this moved along at a better pace. I felt like I was finally going to get some answers, and of course, I did. Sara Jane and Alexander have quite the crazy love story. But it's a unique blend of the darkly damaged and blindingly beautiful.

Great Romance

This book was more than a love story, it was filled with a lot of drama and action. This young couple had plenty of love for each other if the rest of the vultures would let them live in peace. The narration helped top off the book!

All Consuming Love

I really liked this duet! King and Firefly's love is all consuming and real, the kind of love we all wish for. The only thing I will comment on is it felt like they were in their own heads too much debating over the same thing.. you got to know their love more from their memories instead of the present day. It is filled with the right amount of suspense and mystery. I loved how no matter what they never strayed from the love they had for each other and didn't let other peoples opinion into account, they knew the love was unbreakable and true. I loved the narration. Alexander's voice is just magical <3
