Thrilling!

Saving Piper Moonlight is the 2nd book in the Piney Falls mystery series by Joann Keder. It’s the former cult vs town and its up to Cosmo, Lanie and Piper to uncover the secrets. The story is well written with a lot of twists and turns. The characters are unique but work together well. The narration by Carolyne Leys is very good. She brings the characters and story to life.

Cozy Mystery-Why Cults are not something you want to be a part of.

Started listening to the most recent book in this series, Cranberries…. Since I enjoyed the book and its narration, I decided to try and read the rest of the series. While book one was a little hard what into, it is worth the read.

Book 2 was well written and worth listening to. The series is all cozy mysteries. While book 2 picks up where book 1 left off, my feeling is that they will all be able to read as a stand alone. This book is full of twisted plot lines that won’t all make sense until the end. The main characters are well developed and stand the test of time.

If you are interested in cozy mysteries, this series is worth checking out.

Fun and relaxing series additioin

I am seriously hooked on this mystery series. The writing is not complex or intensely angst involved. I guess I would consider this series thus far somewhere in the cozy mystery genre. Truly it is the characters that have me engaged with this journey in Piney Falls, Oregon. I am enjoying the narration and which depicts well the emotional an social angst involved with the diverse population of this cozy little hamlet. This is the second book in the series and I am going to listen to the entire series just to see what criminal mystery is going to grab the leisurely Piney Falls population.

Mixed up affair

This was so twisted that it had me freaking out in some parts. The powers of persuasion and the cult mentality were rampant and difficult to wade through to the other side. At times I felt like I was in an alternate universe. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a good job.

Saving Piper Moonlight is the second book in the Piney Falls Mysteries series. Piper comes to town because it’s where the Fallen Branch cult originated. Piper, Cosmo and Lanie team up together to solve the mystery. The narration by Caroline Leys was excellent.
