Publisher's Summary

Christians speak of "being saved", but all too often don't follow the phrase to its logical reply: "Saved from what?" How do we answer this question when we share the gospel with others? Far from being a matter of semantics, the issue holds critical importance for believers and non-believers alike. Is it really sufficient to say that we are saved from our sins?

R. C. Sproul uses Scripture to show that the question, in its most important sense, should be phrased, "Saved from whom?" The answer: God himself. God, in righteous wrath, stands against us in our sin. But the glory of the gospel is that the one from whom we need to be saved is the very one who saves us. It is when we truly grasp the significance of Christ's redeeming work that we begin to understand the serious demands and joys of repentance. Thoughtful listeners will be strengthened and challenged by this insightful audiobook.

A Complete Look at Salvation

In this book, R.C. Sproul looks not just at ‘Saved from What’, but for what, and by whom. He does of course discuss the Saved from What aspect in a different although Biblical way. It certainly left me with a new perspective on talking with the unsaved. Thumbs way up.

Wonderful

The only thing missing from this book is the voice of the master theologian himself. What a great topic. Sproul brings so much insight without any of the ego. Wonderful listen.

TOWERING INTELLECT ON SALVATION !

From my cell phone so this will be short. RC speaks in a way that I can somewhat comprehend but could never begin to articulate with such elegance. The narrator is wonderful, the subject is well covered and in this day and age of lawlessness "Saved from What" is a topic that needs to be fleshed out. Thank you Mr. Sproul for your tireless work! Bravo, I loved this book! Be assured I will read more from this author.

Another great book from RC Sproul

Expect nothing less than firm theology from RC Sproul. This book gives a firm foundation of exactly what we are saved from and also what we are saved into.
